The Larry Green

Larry Green is a 33 year old writer, artist, satirist and poet from Rochester, NY.  Better known as his stage persona 'Laz' Green from the Psychedelic-Hip-Hop-Fusion band Subsoil, Mr. Green writes about music, art, television, media. literature, psychedelia, mysticism, skepticism, critical thinking, history, philosophy and the multi-faceted, ever evolving face of human experience with a trademark tongue-in-cheek snarkiness intertwined with a unique poignant absurdity that has become his signature voice.

He studied Literature and Creative Writing at Monroe Community College, Philosophy and Theological Studies at St John Fisher College, and Media and Broadcasting at SUNY Brockport.

Green dwells in the South Wedge of Rochester with his wife Jes, and can be found at Voodoo Monkey Tattoo studio at 772 Monroe Ave, Rochester NY, 14607 when not writing or on the road.

Currently writing a now regular blog and soon-to-be-podcast titled The GreenHouse, Green is also hard at work recording a solo Laz Green album alongside The Nummskulls, performing and writing new material with Subsoil, and developing several different pitches for comics, screenplays, and novels.
