GTA V: Most Expensive & Best Cars to Sell to Los Santos Customs for Money!

Updated on November 2, 2013

There are over 200 types of cars in Grand Theft Auto Online, but what are the most expensive and best vehicles to steal then sell? Selling vehicles can be a great way to earn money. Cars can be sold at Los Santos Customs. You can sell a vehicle at Los Customs every 35-36 hours. In real time this is about 35 minutes. The reason for not being able to sell a vehicle constantly is probably to balance the game. Otherwise people would constantly steal vehicles off the street and sell them to Los Santos Customs every minute!

Considering you have to wait about 35 minutes every time you sell a car at Los Santos Customs, why not sell the most expensive ones? Some vehicles are worth $9000 or more in Grand Theft Auto Online. These are rarer, but the guide below will tell you which ones are worth quite a lot.

Best Car to Sell in GTA V for Cash!

Lampadati Felon GT

This car is the most expensive car you can sell to Los Santos Customs in Grand Theft Auto Online! You will get $9500 for this vehicle unless you damage it. Best Car to sell period!

Location?

The lampadati felon GT will be found in traffic areas either in Rockford Hills, Richman, or Morningwood. You'll have to hijack this vehicle from the unluckly civilian. Be careful that you are not seen by cops or damage the vehicle.

Gallivanter Baller (Second Best Car to Sell for money)

This is another expensive vehicle that sells for 9000 dollars on GTA Online. This is an SUV.

Locations?

You'll most likely find the Gallivanter Baller at Blaine County Paleto Bay. It will spawn somewhere in the traffic and can also be found parked at Cluckin Bells. Be careful not to confuse this car with other SUV cars. It looks similar to some cars from a distance.

GTA V: Other Expensive Cars to Steal & Sell for Money

  • Obey Rocoto ($8500)
  • Ocelot F620 (8000)
  • Benefactor Dubsta SUV ($7000)
  • Ubermacht Zion ($6500)

Have you ever got a bounty placed on you for stealing cars?

Keep Vehicle Intact & Avoid Police

In order to get the full price for these vehicles, you need to avoid getting them damaged. Otherwise, you will make less cash at the mod shop. Also, if a police sees you hijack a car or spots you inside a hijacked car you will get a wanted level. And if you attempt to escape in the hijacked car you will get a two star wanted level. Once you get a stolen car that you want to sell for cash go to Los Santos Customs immediately.

Bounty from Car Theft?

This does not always happen, but sometimes civilians will place bounties on you for stealing their vehicles. Tread carefully afterwards because other players may try to kill you because of the bounty placed on your head. I actually had a bounty placed on me from a dead civilian! How in the world does a dead civilian (I just hijacked his car) put a bounty on me?!

Storing Stolen Vehicles in Safe House/Garage to Sell for Money Later

If you happen to steal an expensive car, but are not able to sell it at Los Santos Customs yet, you can store the car at your garage (if you have room). In this regard you can just take the vehicle out to sell whenever Los Santos Customs are accepting cars again. This is a smart idea because the stolen vehicle will be safe inside your garage. Other players will not be able to destroy it. And there is no point on putting car insurance on the vehicle if you plan to sell it for cash! Of course you could always decide to keep the vehicle and use it as your personal car in Grand Theft Auto online!

I have i but ain't selling it because it's my daily car on GTA & for SUV races. Super fast its quicker than Rapid GT in a straight line. It's GTAIV version. Bit slower but has WAY more upgrades than newer car. VERY RARE seen it twice online or $75,000 from SOUTH SA AUTOS

        Kain,

        Kaleb,

Yes that is why these vehicles are good to sell. Unless the commentors meant something else?

You may be able to upgrade a car and sell it for more, but you won't make a profit cause you spent a lot on upgrading them.

Of course it's different if you do a glitch.

Some people upgrade a car till it's 75,000 dollars then duplicate the vehicle several times.

@Ben Ricks, @Raees Khan, @Jepser: Guys, we were looking for vehicles you could just sell right off the bat, no added upgrades, nothing added on to it, because then it sells for itts original price, and you end up spending so much money on the upgrades that it's at that point not worth to sell but keep, imo at least. :P

This is all bs. Find the sultan and upgrade it as much as possible and that baby won't let you down. I have it fully upgraded and it sells for over 100k! Idk what it sells for if you're a lower rank but it's the most expensive car I've found
