Best Playstation 3 Games to Play with Your Girlfriend

PS3 Games for Couples

Playing video games together as a couple can be a great way to hang out and have some fun. Some people think video games are something unsocial that you only do by yourself. As most gamers know, it doesn't have to be like that. Playing video games together can be very social.

Playing together with your girlfriend or boyfriend is an excellent way to spend time and have fun with each other. Below is my list of games that my girlfriend and I think are great fun to play together on the Playstation 3. Most of the games on this list have basic controls, so don't worry if you're new to console gaming. These games are easy to learn, but I have not dumbed the games down. I believe anyone can learn to play these games and really enjoy themselves.

All the games in this list have the option to be played by two players or more, either split screen or on the same screen, and they all have offline co-op. Some have online co-op also.

Rayman Origins

Rayman Origins is a platform game similar to games like Little Big Planet or Super Mario. The game has the option of playing every level in up to four player co-op mode (not split screen).

The fact that you can play the entire game with a friend makes the game so much fun. It's very easy for someone who wants to enter the game to just join in at any level. There isn't a lot of teamwork, except for the Boss fights and the stages where you fly. Despite that, it's still extremely fun.

The game starts off relatively easy. It gets harder and harder as you get further in the game, which is great because, at the end, the game offers a challenge even for the most experienced gamer. The art in the game is hand drawn and looks very unique. You can check it out yourself because I included a trailer for the game down below.

Altogether, it's just a great PS3 game to play together as a couple.

The Uncharted Series

There are three Uncharted games. I have only played Uncharted 2 and 3, so those are the games I'm going to talk about, but I hear that the first game is a lot of fun too. In Uncharted, you can't play the whole single player campaign in Co-op. The actual campaign is only available in single player, which is a shame, but the game still has some great co-op action!

It's possible to play split screen both online with other players and offline with a friend. Both options are great fun but if you're doing it online and versus other players things can get tough. You can choose to either play against each other killing only real players in a team death match mode, or you can play against a huge army of computer played enemies. The latter is my girlfriend's and my personal favorite game mode. This game mode demands that you work together as a team and includes intense action and a lot of screaming! I will include a gameplay trailer down below so you can see what the game is all about.

Oh, and let's not forget how amazing the single player story mode is! Uncharted 3 is one of the best games for the PS3 if you ask me.

Resident Evil 5

Resident Evil 5 is yet another game where the game developers really thought about the co-op mode and understood that playing together is an important part of gaming. In fact, you can play the whole game with a two player split screen (both online and offline).

The genre of the game is survival shooter game. That means a lot of tricky and scary situations where you and your partner need to work together to survive. The game can be a bit scary, so I wouldn't recommend this game to anyone who really doesn't like scary movies. Even though it is filled with zombies and scary things, it's definitely not a horror game. I would compare Resident Evil 5 to a crappy horror movie on TV. It has the same levels of goofy scariness and bad acting.

The game doesn't have the best story, and the voice acting could also use some work. Despite its flaws, this is still a fantastic game. Its epic action and intense boss fights are what make the game awesome. You can feel that you have to work together to succeed, and when you do succeed as a team in Resident Evil 5, it's incredibly rewarding. So go kill those zombies!

Little Big Planet 2

This is another platform adventure game. The gameplay is similar to Super Mario and Rayman, but this game is in a category all on its own! It is set in a creative and unique world that looks almost handmade. Everywhere in the game, you find items and stickers that you can use to decorate your character. The gameplay is also very versatile for a platform game. It's difficult to get bored because gameplay and design differ in every stage. You can even create your own stages in the game or play one of the hundreds of thousands of stages that people have made all over the world. There's no shortage of stages and content in this fantastic game.

You can play this game with up to four players at once on the same screen, both offline and online. It's a perfect game to play together as a couple or with friends, especially among people with a variety of skill levels. The game controls are very basic and easy to learn so even the most inexperienced gamer will learn the controls and master the game pretty quickly, but of course, the game gets harder and harder the farther you play. In the last 10 stages or so, the game can be really challenging (and fun!)

Little Big Planet 2 is a must for anyone who owns a Playstation 3. My girlfriend and I have played this game for many hours and had a ton of fun. The game is a few years old now, so it's really cheap. You can also check out Little Big Planet 1, the first game in the series. It's almost as fun as the second installment, so I would definitely recommend checking both games out. The first game is even cheaper than the second!
