1. Cabela's Dangerous Hunts (2011)
This isn't just another boring, cookie-cutter hunting game. It includes a fairly interesting single-player story mode which takes place in the African wilderness, and a shooting gallery mode for up to four players to participate in hunting a wide array of animals in various locations around the world.
Included with the game is a gun controller called the "Top Shot Elite" with such features as a scope, adjustable stock, and pump-action reloading. You also have the ability to use your Move controller if you prefer. Both work very well in-game.
2. Cabela's Big Game Hunter (2012)
Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 is updated, adding a sense of strategy to video game hunting and allowing players to choose their route of attack. Climb higher to get a better view or get down in the dirt for an element of surprise. Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2012 also offers enhanced realism with dynamic weather, natural hazards, and realistic animal behaviors.
Like the previous year's release, this game can be purchased with or without the Top Shot Elite, which can be troublesome to calibrate on larger TVs.
3. Child of Eden
Child of Eden is a rhythmic rail shooter that assaults the senses, in a good way, with tons of eye candy set to some heart-pumping beats.
Your mission throughout the game is to eradicate a virus that threatens the destruction of Project Lumi, the virtual reproduction of human intelligence inside the futuristic internet called, "Eden," which has archived every human memory—hence "Child of Eden." And while you may find this all very odd, it doesn't really matter—Child of Eden relies on its frantic and fun action sequences, and not the story, to propel you to the end.
4. Dead Space: Extraction
Dead Space 2: Collector's Edition includes Dead Space: Extraction (PS Move compatible), a replica plasma cutter, game soundtrack, concept art, and a DLC voucher.
Read More From Levelskip
Dead Space: Extraction takes advantage of the PS Move controller and is set as a prequel to the original Dead Space game. In the game, you play as an Aegis VII colony survivor battling vicious, infected colonists called "Necromorphs" to achieve your goal of reaching safety at the orbiting USG Ishimura spaceship.
In Dead Space 2, you play as Engineer Isaac Clarke who wakes from a coma in a space city known as "The Sprawl." You soon realize you are the only survivor of an alien infestation that has turned the residents of the city into terrifying creatures. You must fight to find the cause and put a stop to this horrific situation.
5. GoldenEye 007: Reloaded
GoldenEye 007: Reloaded has been updated for the 21st century with HD graphics, more characters, added gameplay modes, multiplayer customization, and most importantly for readers here, PS Move support. And for all you nostalgic players out there, the classic split-screen multiplayer is back with several classic game modes such as; Golden Gun, Melee Only, and Paintball.
Also, PlayStation Sharpshooter and Top Shot Elite owners will be happy to hear that these peripherals are 100% compatible.
6. Heavy Fire: Afghanistan
Heavy Fire: Afghanistan is a frantic rail-based, first-person-shooter game that delivers non-stop action. In the game, you get to play through 24 different missions that will have you running, flying, and driving through war-torn Afghanistan for the good of mankind.
7. House of the Dead Overkill: Extended Cut
House of the Dead Overkill: Extended Cut is a zombie shoot-em-up featuring new levels, weapons, foes, and the ability to bring a friend along with you to blast hordes of mutant zombies. Check the online leader board to see where you stack up against gamers around the world. This version features PlayStation trophies, new content, and game modes.
8. Killzone 3
Killzone 3 features cutting edge graphics and gameplay and incorporates full PS Move compatibility and full 3D support. Killzone 3 is available in a standard package with just the game or you can snag the Killzone 3: Helghast Edition, which includes the game, an authentic Helghast Helmet replica, an exclusive Cloaking Helghast Marksman action figure, an exclusive artbook, and a "Super Voucher" for downloadable content.
In Killzone 3, you play as a member of a special ops team fighting the powerful Helghast Empire. As you progress through the game you will learn the secrets of the Helghan culture, as well as weaknesses that can be used against them. You will find new features, including new melee attacks, the ability to carry two primary weapons, jet pack functionality, and online multiplayer support.
MAG is an online-only, team-based, multiplayer game where up to 256 players can battle it out at once. Set in a futuristic, Earth-like setting, players choose to fight with one of three private military corporations (Raven, S.V.E.R. or Valor) that secure objectives aboard for various nations across the globe.
The main goal of the game is to upgrade your character by unlocking special abilities and rise through the ranks to become a general or elite fighter. Players can either use the standard PS3 controller or the PS Move to navigate the maps and blast foes.
10. Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition contains everything from the original Resident Evil 5 release, plus PS Move compatibility, two new playable episodes, an upgraded Mercenaries Mode, Online Versus Mode, and four new costumes to customize your character.
In RE 5, you play as Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance member Chris Redfield, sent to West Africa to accompany partner Sheva Alomar in investigating a virus that is turning residents into zombies.
11. SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals
SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy Seals is the second release from the SOCOM franchise on the PlayStation 3 platform. In this installment, you will take command of a NATO special forces squad deployed to Southeast Asia in an attempt to rescue the country from a revolution. After you've had enough of the offline campaign you can join in online where SOCOM games truly shine and fight it out in 32-player, squad-based battles.
The creators of SOCOM 4 have integrated the PS Move into the game, giving you the option to shoot, fight. and command your squad all with the Move controller.
12. Time Crisis: Razing Storm
Time Crisis: Razing Storm features four game-play modes, including Story Mode (1 player), Arcade Mode (1-2 players), Sentry Mode (1-4 players), and Online Battle Mode. In Story Mode, you play as a member of an elite American task force called SCAR sent to capture the head of a terrorist organization that declared war on the USA. Progress through Story Mode by eliminating terrorists and winning boss battles.
Arcade and Sentry modes are where the most fun is to be had, playing with friends, seeing who can get the highest score, and how you stack up against players around the world with online stats tracking. If you're unable to locate anyone to play with you can hop online in Online Battle Mode to play against up to eight other players anywhere in the world.
13. The Shoot
The Shoot is a first-person shooter, specifically designed for the PS Move (required) and the PS Eye (required), that feels like a modern take on a gun-based arcade game.
The game takes place on various fictional action movie sets where the player must eliminate the attacking enemies by any means necessary. There are five movie sets where you and a friend (optional) can wreak havoc, including; Deep Perils, Haunted House Party, The Mob, Outlaws, and Robot Rebellion.
14. BioShock Infinite
BioShock Infinite is the third installment in the highly acclaimed Bioshock series. This time around, you will be leaving the underwater world of the previous games and find yourself atop a strange, flying city in the year 1912. Playing as former private detective Booker DeWitt, your mission is to find and return a missing young woman named Elizabeth, who is trapped somewhere in the mysterious city.
15. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is the latest release in the Counter-Strike series, with an improved experience from the classic online first-person shooter most of us know and love—a tall feat.
CS: GO features eight new maps along with most of your old favorites, such as de_dust, cs_office, and cs_italy, to name a few. Unfortunately no cs_assault, a personal favorite. Also, you'll find new weapons, characters, gameplay modes, matchmaking, and leader boards to round out this release.
Also if you're wondering if you will be at a disadvantage against keyboard and mouse users (yes, the PS3 version supports them) don't worry. When using the PS Move you will only play against other PS Move users and vice versa for DS3 users.
16. Modern Combat: Domination
Modern Combat: Domination is a first-person online multiplayer shooting game available for download on the PSN. There are six online game modes you can shoot it out in including Deathmatch, Capture The Flag, Escort, Boom & Bust, and Extraction.
If you've played games like CoD: Modern Warfare and Counter-Strike, then you may get some familiar vibes as the game borrows key elements from those titles.
17. Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection
Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection features both the Umbrella Chronicles and Parkside Chronicles—originally Wii titles—both updated with HD graphics and PS Move support.
The Umbrella Chronicles backdrops the stories of Resident Evil 0, 1, 2, and 3, lending a hand to the fall of the Umbrella Corp. Darkside Chronicles puts players in Raccoon City fighting off the product of the T-virus—hoards of the undead.
What's Your Favorite PS Move Shooting Game?
Paul on October 14, 2017:
Resistance 3 is missing and Greg Hastings Paintball 2. Greg Hastings has been the best experience I've ever had using the sharpshooter, feels like your really playing paintball!

The guy @TRADE N'PLAY pointed to Hitman:Absolution when I bought a move pistol. Playing it I found application for the gun. I'm new to PS3 games, so Icould just be too clueless to see it, but it doesn't seem like it'd be very efficient anyway. So don't get Hitman:Absolution for gun use!
anonymous on January 14, 2013:
i have to admit i am not impressed with sonys move controller, i was expecting something much better designed, after all the ps3 game controller is the best ever made. i have seen nothing that will tempt me to buy the ps3 move as an adult gamer

There's missing the Child Of Eden game which has support for 3D and it's very impressive.
HMQ (author) on August 16, 2012:
@anonymous: House of The Dead OVERKILL - Extended Cut, Heavy Fire: Afghanistan, and Time Crisis: Razing Storm allow at least two players to play offline with two Move controllers in certain modes. I hope that helps.
anonymous on August 13, 2012:
Do you know about move shooter game requiring two motion controllers for two player offline mode ? example - killzone3 allows two player offline mode splitscreen but they can't be played with motion controllers and have to be played with dual shock controllers.

@anonymous: Thanks for the tip! It looks like a cool gun. Though what would be really cool is a gun that could simulate a little recoil, if that's even possible.
anonymous on May 13, 2011:
Those guns are all whack, Y'all got to get your hands on the new Prodagen "Flex-Fire" coming out this summer!

My favorite is definitely Time Crisis: Razing Storm. I love the old "on-rails" arcade shooters. I probably won't buy the Move for it, but I'd like to track down a Gun-Con 3 at some point.
