Gibraltar

9. Gibraltar

Keypoints:

  • Great defense
  • Easy and simple abilities
  • Easy and great defensive Ultimate ability

Gibraltar is great to use for soaking damage for your team. Because of his shield he can be used to fight enemies from a defensive position while protecting his teammates. His ultimate is also always handy for getting a quick break from a firefight when needed.

Caustic

8. Caustic

Keypoints

  • Good AOE damage
  • Can be used to impair vision
  • Traps for ambushes

Caustic is my personal favorite but definitely not the best or easiest character to play. He is great to ambush a group of enemies, or to just hit a load of players at the same time with his poison gas. He can also just create chaos because the poison gas just lowers the visibility for everyone in a fight. So while he is great at disruption, he still doesn't have any way to move or escape quickly, which makes him a sitting duck sometimes.

Pathfinder
Pathfinder | Source

7. Pathfinder

Keypoints

  • Map knowledge
  • Can move away fast
  • Can draw enemies in
  • Quick map traversal for entire team

Pathfinder is a great support character, his abilities allow you to find out where the ring is going to be, and his ultimate allows the team to move to another spot quickly. Although enemies can make use of it as well! Anyway, Pathfinder is a good tactical addition to any team.

Mirage

5. Bloodhound

Keypoints

  • Compatibility with Bangalore
  • Scouting enemies

Bloodhound is able to easily search and spot enemies. This is a great ability because if you know your enemies position, you are the one in charge!

His ultimate ability allows him to see through Bangalore's smoke, which makes them together the ultimate team to finish of enemies in the smoke.

Octane
Octane | Source

4. Octane

Keypoints

  • Health regeneration
  • Movement speed
  • Team travel

Octane is great because of his movement abilities. He can move quick and get away quick, while his ultimate ability allows the entire team to move to another place quickly. Outside of the movement, he also regenerates health passively, which makes him a great character overall.

Bangalore

3. Bangalore

Keypoints

  • Smoke launcher
  • Fast cooldown
  • Survivability
  • Create confusion

Bangalore's smoke launcher is just a great ability, it can be used in a lot of different situations. Picking up a team mate banner without getting killed, retreating from a fight, ambushing enemies etc. Another great thin about it is that is has a fast cooldown, which means you can use it a lot!

Wraith

2. Wraith

Keypoints

  • Battlefield knowledge
  • Escaping
  • Ambushes and traps

Wraith can create a portal between two points, which is a very versatile skill that can be used in a lot of different situations. Retreating, ambushing, travel etc.

Just keep in mind that the enemies can use the portals as well!

Lifeline
Lifeline | Source

1. Lifeline

Keypoints

  • Great support
  • Reviving

Lifeline is definitely the best character to have in a team to make sure that you all survive. She can refill health bars, revive fallen allies safely, and focus on carrying weapons and items other than health items. Overall she is a great addition to any team.
