High Round Strategy for Nacht Der Untoten on Black Ops 2 Zombie Chronicles

Updated on May 28, 2017

Black Ops 3 Zombie Chronicles Nacht Der Untoten

Nacht Der Untoten was the map that started the zombie mode on Call of Duty. It was originally released on Call of Duty World at War as an easter egg for completing the game. Then it was re-released on Black Ops 1. Now, it has been remastered for the Black Ops 3 zombie chronicles DLC content.

The level is basically the same as it was previously, but this time, players can use gobblegums and get more perks. The map is very small compared to the new zombie maps. Additionally, the zombies are relatively slow for quite a while before they start running.

The strategy outlined in this article can work on solo or while playing with 2-4 players. However, the rounds will be much longer when playing with more team mates because more zombies will spawn and attack.

Nacht Der Untoten Strategy on Black Ops 3 Chronicles

In order for this strategy to work optimally; you must NOT remove the barricade that blocks you from getting to the second floor. It's fine to remove the barricade that blocks the stairs in the adjacent room where the mystery box is, though.

First and foremost, acquire the most amount of points by knifing the zombies in the earlier rounds. Shoot them with the starter pistol in the legs a few times, then knife them for extra points. If there are any gobblegums that you wish to use, then use the machine. After several rounds, open the door on the first floor that leads to the room with the mystery box. Use the mystery box until you get a decent weapon (when you have the time and points to spare).

When you have the points, remove the barricade from the stairs that are next to the mystery box. The KN-44 assault rifle is at the top of the stairs. The KN-44 is an excellent weapon to use on this map because it's powerful, reloads fast, and ammo can be purchased for it.

Use the Der Wunderfizz machine that is on the second floor next to the KN-44 weapon. The Der Wunderfizz machine is a perk-a-cola machine that gives the player a random perk. Try and get juggernog out of it as soon as possible. Just remember that you can only have 4 perks unless you use a special gobblegum. If you don't like the perk that the Der Wunderfizz gives you; don't take it.

Camping Strategy on Second Floor

In the earlier rounds; it's easy to kill the zombies and barricade the windows. Eventually, however, the zombies will become more powerful and there will be many more that spawn each round. Once you are ready or things become too difficult, go to the second floor that's above the spawn room where there is one window by the staircase. As mentioned earlier, DO NOT remove the barricade by the stairs, as the zombies will be able to run up the stairs.

This strategy involves standing next to the grenades or somewhere near the window and shooting all the zombies that enter the room. As long as you don't remove the barricade from the stairs; it's impossible for zombies to attack from behind. They will only attack from the other room and the window. If you're playing solo, you'll have to stand farther back cause it may be too difficult to defend both the room and the window. But if you're playing with multiple players, then one player can defend the window while everyone else (1-3 players) defend the room from attacking zombies.

Using the KN-44 is an excellent weapon for this strategy. If you run out of ammo, simply run to the other room in between rounds to by ammo. Additionally, although there is no pack-a-punch machine to upgrade weapons like there is on other Black Ops 3 zombie maps, you can use the gobblegum "wallpower" to use an upgraded version of the KN-44 (upgraded ammo can be bought for it). Crate power is also a gobblegum that allows players to use upgraded weapons. When crate power is equipped, the first weapon taken out of the mystery box will be upgraded.

Black Ops 3 Zombies Nacht Der Untoten Strategy

To significantly increase your chances of defending the second floor room, use the deadshot daiquiri perk because it makes you aim at zombies heads; killing them much faster. Also, speed cola and double tap are perks that are vital. Avoid using weak weapons that are slow to reload cause the zombies may push you back and trap you in the corner. Use upgraded assault rifles or a ray gun. The thundergun is good because it can kill and/or knock an entire group of zombies back. But you'll run out of ammo quickly with it; therefore, only use it if someone is down and needs to be revived or when there's a large group of zombies.

If you want to get all the perks, use the gobblegums called On the House, Unquenchable, or perkaholic. This will increase your chances of making it to higher rounds on Nacht Der Untoten.

In summary, use the KN-44 (better upgraded) with many (or all) the perks to defend the second story floor. Buy ammo in between rounds or switch to another weapon that reloads fast to destroy the attacking zombies. Make sure someone defends the window (if you're not on solo) and never remove the barricade on the stairs by the window.

Assuming you're using multiple perks and upgraded weapons, it's possible to make it to round 30-40 (or higher). The deadshot perk will help tremendously cause headshots do way more damage. Shooting the zombies in the body will make it nearly impossible to survive the higher rounds cause they will not die fast enough & will likely trap you in the corner.

Hopefully, this helps you on the Black Ops 3 map Nacht Der Untoten
