Hero Introduction

Arthur is a ranged carry hero. He is one of the first three heroes unlocked when starting in Extraordinary Ones. As a ranged hero, your priority is to stay in the back lines and deal damage from afar. As a carry hero, you have to prioritize getting your items and leveling up until you are able to dish damage significantly during battles.

Arthur is also a squishy hero and can be easily killed by assassins. Staying alive while farming is the key to snowball with Arthur. At full level and items, he can go unstoppable.

Skill Build Guide

Passive Skill: Star Shine

Arthur's attack and skills inject and stack shards of stars into enemies hit with them. When the shards stacks reach five, they will explode and deal +60% PHY bonus damage to surrounding enemies and slows them down.

First Skill: Star Stream

  • CD: 17 seconds, lowers every level down to 12 seconds at the max
  • MP Cost: 90

When activated, Star Stream allows Arthur to shoot three arrows consecutively. The main arrow deals +50% PHY bonus damage. The other two arrows deal +20% PHY bonus damage.

Star Stream is the most useful skill for Arthur. You can use it to farm faster and as well as push lane. During combat, this skill can deal massive damage to multiple enemies especially if Arthur is fully equipped.

Second Skill: Star Fall

  • CD: 10 seconds
  • MP Cost: 100
  • Base Damage: 250/300/350/400/450/500

Star Fall calls upon a starlight to shine around Arthur and removes all debuffs as well as bombard enemies dealing +70% PHY bonus sa damage. Star Fall gives bonus move speed to Arthur as well.

You can use Star Fall to farm lanes faster in the early rounds. However, Star Fall's main purpose is to save you from controlling debuffs. Use this skill to escape or chase enemy heroes as this gives Arthur bonus movement speed.

Third Skill/SS: Brilliant Star

  • CD: 45 seconds
  • MP Cost: 200
  • Base Damage: [PHY] 400/520/640/760

Arthur charges and releases an Arrow of Star toward a selected direction. The arrow has an infinite range and deals PHY damage to enemies on the path and blinds them. The farther the arrow flies, the greater the damage (up to 300% of the damage).

Awakening: When the Arrow of Star hits a hero, 5 stacks of Shard of Stars are inflicted on that hero.

Brilliant Star is a devastating skill when hitting a hero from distance. Use Brilliant Star to hit escaping heroes. You can choose the direction when you want the Arrow to go. You can even kill a hero that is on the other side of the map. Use Brilliant Star to try to hit heroes who are in a battle with your teammates anywhere on the map.

Suggested Skill Build

  1. Max First Skill first.
  2. Get and upgrade the Third Skill/SS at every opportunity.
  3. Max the Second Skill last.

Suggested Summoner Spell

Flash is a really good spell for Arthur. It allows him to escape enemy ambushes. You may also use Flash to chase escaping heroes.

If you are fully slotted and is sure to kill the enemies, use Flash to arrive on top of a group of unsuspecting heroes with your first skill activated and run them down with your normal attacks.

Item Build Guide

Supernova Item Build

This build aims to make Arthur unleash maximum damage in as short of time as possible to compensate with Star Stream's six seconds duration. This is also a cheaper build therefore you can get this as fast as you can before the enemy knows what's coming for them.

1. Roller Shoes

  • Attack Speed +25%
  • Unique Passive: +60 Move Speed

This does not need too much explanation. Roller shoes provide movement speed for escaping and chasing. The most important stat here is the 25% attack speed increase.

2. Power of Demon

  • Attack +110
  • Unique Passive: Lifesteal > +25% PHY from Damage
  • Unique Passive: Blood Frenzy > Heals 3% of Max HP each time you kill a unit.

Adds massive damage and gives Lifesteal passive.

3. Gilded Plunger

  • Attack +40
  • Attack Speed +10%
  • Crit Rate +20%
  • Unique Passive: Battle Will > Each time you hit a hero, get 8% ATK Speed and 12 ATK for 3s. Max 5 stacks.

With just a relatively small cost, you get an item for your critical damage. It's passive goes well with Star Stream. You can replace this with Gatling Gun after getting all the items.

4. Golden Cudgel

  • Attack +90
  • Crit Rate 20%
  • Unique Passive: Critical Damage > +50% Crit Damage
  • Unique Passive: Critical Bonus > Deal additional 50 damage as Real/Pure Damage when landing a critical hit.

The critical from this item is savage. The additional attack is always welcome.

5. Head Strike

  • Attack +60
  • Attack Speed +30%
  • Unique Passive: One Hit > Normal attacks deal additional PHY damage equal to 8% of target's current HP (max 160 when fighting jungle mobs) and recover HP equal to 2% of target's current HP.
  • Unique Passive: Reverse Execution > Increase your normal attack damage by 10% when the target's current HP is higher than 60%.

This is the item that really turns things around. Get this before Golden Cudgel if you are having a hard time surviving during fights.

6. Knockoff Bow

  • Attack +60
  • P. Def +40
  • SP Def +40
  • Unique Passive: Nirvana > When you receive fatal damage, you become immune to death and enter an invincible state. In this state, you cannot move, attack, or use skills but your recover 400+20*Hero LVL every second for 4 seconds. You can interrupt this state with any move after 2 seconds. It has 90 seconds.

Another survival item. You can replace this with Plasma Gun if you can trust your teammates to help you survive during battles.

Stellar Conqueror Build

This is a slower and more costly build. It relies on a good farming and pushing game. However, this is also a good pusher and defender build specially if the enemy has almost overrun your base.

For movement and attack speed.

2. Power of Demon

Massive damage and Lifesteal passive. Helps you sustain in the lane.

3. Gatling Gun

  • Attack +80
  • Attack Speed +25%
  • Crit Rate +20%
  • Unique Passive: Split > Your ranged normal attacks will launch 3 additional bullets to strike targets nearby. The bullets deal 50% of your normal ATK DMG and 25% if hitting mobs in the lane.

This is your ultimate pushing item. Split passive is a good tool to finish off minions in the lane faster.

4. Plasma Gun

  • Attack Speed +35%
  • Crit Rate +25%
  • Unique Passive: Practice Makes Perfect > After consecutively hitting an enemy 3 times with normal attacks, every following normal attack will deal 35% more damage to this target. The counter resets if you have not hit the target again within 3 seconds.
  • Unique Active: Electromagnetic Shield > When activated, provides 50% damage reduction and 40% Move Speed boost, lasting 2 seconds. It has a 75-second cooldown. The effect is reduced by half against melee attacks.

Allows you to dish significant damage. The shield is handy when running away from ganks of the enemy who are trying to stop your push.

5. Head Strike

  • Attack +60
  • Attack Speed +30%
  • Unique Passive: One Hit > Normal attacks deal additional PHY damage equal to 8% of target's current HP (max 160 when fighting jungle mobs) and recover HP equal to 2% of target's current HP.
  • Unique Passive: Reverse Execution > Increase your normal attack damage by 10% when the target's current HP is higher than 60%.

The HP restoration from this item allows you to get back to the lane and push. When chased from the lane, run towards the nearest jungle and kill mobs to replenish your health. Then go back to the lane again to push.

6. Knockoff Bow

  • SP Def +40
  • Unique Passive: Nirvana > When you receive fatal damage, you become immune to death and enter an invincible state. In this state, you cannot move, attack or use skills but your recover 400+20*Hero LVL every second for 4 seconds. You can interrupt this state with any move after 2 seconds. It has 90 seconds.

This is your life-saving item. This prevents the enemy from bursting you down.
