Hey there budding adventurer! I see you’ve decided to become an Acolyte. Acolytes follow the teachings of faith. They are holy warriors of light who support allies with divine powers and banish evil into the darkness. They are very faithful and their powers lie in their holy rites. You will often see them healing the injured and supporting other adventurers in their battles against evil.

Now that you’re on your way to becoming an Acolyte, there’s only one task left for you to do: passing the Acolyte Job Change Quest! Don’t fret about it because this guide will help you successfully pass the trial and finally become the acolyte of your dreams.

The Acolyte Job Change Quest

Step 1: Register for the Acolyte Job Change Quest

Before you take the quest, keep in mind that your Job Level as a Novice should be 10.

To begin, simply talk to Father Mareusis who is inside the Prontera Sanctuary/Church (coordinates: prt_church 184, 41). The Prontera Sanctuary/Church is located in the farthest northeast corner of the city of Prontera.

Step 2: Get Briefed about the Mission

Father Mareusus will ask you to go on a pilgrimage. The pilgrimage itself will require you to visit one of the three holy people, namely: Father Rubalkabara, Mother Marthilda, and Father Yosuke.

Step 3: Go on a Pilgrimage and Visit the Appointed Person

Simply visit the person assigned to you and speak with him/her. Here are their locations:

  • Father Rubalkabara is situated in a place near the St. Capitolina Abbey (coordinates: prt_fild03 365,259). His exact location is one map north and two maps east of Prontera. You will know that you’re in the right place if you start seeing Yoyos, Smokies, and Chocos. Be careful with the Chocos because they are very aggressive.
  • Mother Matilda is situated in a place near the town of Morroc (coordinates: moc_fild07 36,354). She can be found on the farthest northwest corner of the place one map north of Morroc. She’s the easiest to find because she’s really near a town.
  • Father Yosuke is situated on a very small island in certain place near Prontera (coordinates: prt_fild00 208,218). The place is located 2 maps west and 1 map north of Prontera. Once you reach the said place, head towards the center where you’ll find him standing on top of the small island.

Step 4: Return to Father Mareusis and become an Acolyte

After speaking with the assigned person and completing your pilgrimage, Father Mareusis will officially accept you as a herald of the Church.

Congratulations, you are now an Acolyte!
