How to Complete the Archer Job Change Quest
Hey there, budding adventurer! I see you’ve decided to become an Archer. Archers follow the way of the bow and arrow. They are combatants who prefer precise and deadly long-range attacks as their basic mode of combat. They are overwhelmingly dexterous and extremely agile. You will often see them in the rearguard, watching everyone’s back and shooting at the enemy with their lethal aim.
Now that you’re on your way to becoming an Archer, there’s only one task left for you to do—passing the Archer Job Change Quest! Don’t fret about it because this guide will help you successfully pass the trial and finally become the Archer of your dreams.
Step 1: Register for the Archer Job Change Quest
Before you take the quest, keep in mind that your Job Level as a Novice should be 10.
To begin, simply talk to the Archer Guildsman, who is inside the Archer Guild in the Archer Village (coordinates: payon_in02 64, 71). The Archer Guild is located in the farthest northeast corner of the Archer Village. The Archer Village, on the other hand, is situated one map north of the town of Payon.
Step 2: Get Briefed About the Task
The Archer Guildsman will ask you to collect certain trunks from the Willows surrounding Payon Town. It can be any trunk: a Fine-grained Trunk, a Solid Trunk, a Barren Trunk, or just an ordinary Trunk. Each type of trunk yields different point values, as follows:
- Fine-grained Trunk = 5 Points
- Solid Trunk = 3 Points
- Barren Trunk = 2 Points
- Trunk = 1 Point
Step 3: Gather the Required Amount of Trunks
After being briefed about the task, proceed to the surrounding areas of Payon Town to hunt for Willows and collect the trunks. Remember that you need at least 25 points to pass the Archer Job Change Quest.
Step 4: Return to the Archer Guildsman With the Trunks and Become an Archer
Once you gather enough trunks and get them assessed by the Archer Guildsman, he will tell you that you did a really great job and reveal that the trunks you’ve collected will be used to craft your very first bow. With the task complete, you will become an official member of the Archer Guild.
Congratulations, you are now an Archer!
