The Priest Platinum Skill
There is only one available platinum skill for the Priest class: Redemptio.
This guide will help you master it. Read on and blaze the trail to becoming a Priest that is the ultimate bringer of light and hope in Ragnarok Online!
How to Earn the Redemptio Skill
Your Job Level as a Priest should be 40 or above. Additionally, you must have the skill “Resurrection” at level 1 or higher.
1. Talk to Sister Linus, who is inside the Prontera Sanctuary/Church in Prontera (coordinates: prt_church 111,112). Prontera Sanctuary/Church is located in the farthest northeast corner of Prontera. Sister Linus can be found standing near the Church pews.
2. After you talk to her twice, Sister Linus will require you to gather the following items:
- Blue Gemstone x20
- Holy Water x30
3. After you gather the needed items and give them to Sister Linus, she will try to teach you the platinum skill—Redemptio!
4. There’s a chance that you will fail in learning the skill. Every time you fail, Sister Linus will take one of each of the required items. You will learn the skill eventually, but it’s best to bring more of the items than required, just to be safe. Also, it is said that the higher your job level and resurrection level are, the higher the chance of quickly learning this skill.
Redemptio is a holy property magical supportive skill that allows you to revive all your dead party members within a range of 29 x 29 cells around you at the cost of your own life. You will receive an EXP penalty upon your death as usual, but this can be reduced proportional to the number of party members revived.
Note that the cast time of this skill is not affected by your DEX, and it cannot be cast if your EXP is below 1%.
