Hey there budding adventurer! I see you’ve decided to become a taekwon kid. Taekwon Kids follow the way of martial arts. They are fighters who have trained their bodies to withstand harsh conditions and deal destructive physical blows against adversaries. They are experts when it comes to martial arts. Their punches sting like a bee and their kicks hurt like hell. Taekwon Kids are virtually peerless when it comes to hand-to-hand combat.

Now that you’re on your way to becoming a taekwon kid, there’s only one task left for you to complete and that's passing the Taekwon Job Change Quest! Don’t fret about it because this guide will help you successfully pass the trial and finally become the taekwon kid of your dreams.

The Taekwon Job Change Quest

Step 1: Speak with Phoenix

Before you take the quest, keep in mind that your Job Level as a Novice should be 10.

To begin, simply talk to Phoenix who is near the center of the town of Payon (coordinates: payon 157,141). He can be found standing near the houses where the shops and vendor/refinement NPCs also stand.

Step 2: Level Up Once

Phoenix will ask you to level up once on top of your current base level. That means if you’re level 10, then you have to reach level 11. If you’re level 11, then you have to reach level 12. If you're level 12, then you have to reach level 13, and so on. Keep in mind that all you need to do is level up only once. You can level up fast by annihilating the monsters near the town of Payon.

Note: If your base level is already 20 or above, you won't need to do Phoenix's Level-Up task anymore. He'll automatically let you proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Return to Phoenix

Once you have gained a level, speak with Phoenix again and he will ask you a few questions. The answers you must give him are as follows:

  1. I face it head on.
  2. Accept the differences and learn from them.
  3. Yes.

Step 4: Become a Taekwon

Now that you have finished training your body to gain a level and answering Phoenix’s questions correctly, he will accept you as new follower of the Taekwon arts and give you a Guard [0] as a gift for your efforts.

Congratulations, you are now a Taekwon!
