The Best Hidden Object Games for Android and iOS!
Hidden object games have been a popular genre for years! Before digital hidden object games, there were seek and find puzzles in books, but over the years, there have been hidden objects for computers, phones and tablets. If you look in the app stores for hidden object games, you’ll likely find thousands of results, but which are the best ones in terms of graphics, storyline and gameplay?
Here’s a list of the best free hidden object games available for Android and iOS devices!
Criminal Case puts you in the shoes of a detective in the fictional town of Grimsborough. It’s up to you to investigate and examine the scene of crimes, look for clues and analyse them in the laboratory, interrogate suspects, and arrest the culprits!
The game is great because it’s not just a typical hidden object game; it has an engaging mystery/crime story line too, and is sure to be a favourite among fans of both hidden object games and crime dramas. There are hundreds of crime scenes to investigate and hours of fun to be had!
Home Makeover- Hidden Object
The Home Makeover game series spans over four games, all revolving around main character, Emma, as she helps her family and friends renovate their homes by finding old objects, putting them up for sale and then redecorating!
If you’re a fan of both hidden object and home design games, this game series will be a perfect match for you!
Time Gap: Hidden Object Mystery
Travel around the world and through time to uncover a time travel mystery! Find hidden objects while meeting historical figures (like Cleopatra, Mona Lisa, and Abraham Lincoln, to name a few) and unravel the mysterious time-travel plot. There are also match-3 and bubble shooter mini games to keep you occupied between the hidden object puzzles.
This game has a great story, graphics, and it’s nice to have the mini-games if you’re looking for a bit more variety in your typical hidden object game!
You’re the hotel’s host in this game, and it’s not only up to you to investigate the mysterious objects and dark rooms, but also renovate the interior! There are hundreds of options to design the hotel with, and you can redecorate it to your liking, with various design styles. The storyline also includes quirky characters and hotel guests to interact with.
Again, this is a great game for those of us who enjoy hidden object and design games. The storyline is also engaging with beautiful graphics.
In this game, you play alongside the main character, Pearl, a pilot and heiress. Travel around the world with her to help her uncover the clues behind the mystery of her father’s apparent suicide. Like many of the games on the list, Pearl’s Peril isn’t just a hidden object game. It’s also a city builder, in which you can design and create your own island! Decorate and design Pearl’s family estate to your liking with a variety of buildings and objects!
Help Pearl travel the world, uncover the mystery of her father, and restore their island!
June’s Journey is made by the same developers of Pearl’s Peril (Wooga), and I’ll admit the games are quite similar, but both are extremely good. While Pearl’s Peril is set in the 1930’s, June’s Journey is set in the 1920’s and your job is to help June find hidden clues, investigate a crime, restore the family estate, and more!
If you’ve played “Pearl’s Peril” and just can’t get enough, I highly recommend adding June Journey’s to your phone or tablet, too!
Home Designer- Dream House Hidden Object
If you’re looking for a hidden object game which mixes home design, look no further than this one! A bit similar to “Home Makeover”, in this game, you help Hazel raise funds to redecorate her aunt’s home by finding hidden objects. There are over 150 objects you can use to decorate with, giving you lots of variety for the home design part of the game, and there several different hidden object modes, including picture, flash sale mode, memory mode, and more!
If you enjoy games like “Design Home” as well as hidden object games, you’ll love this one!
