"Figure Fantasy": The Big Three, Galatea

Figure Fantasy

Figure Fantasy is an idle, team-building, gacha mobile game that released globally in 2021. In this game you collect a multitude of different 3D figurines from in-game blind boxes and use them for the game's combat system.

In order to progress through the harder parts of the game, you will need to equip your figures with gear pieces, which can be found through The Big Three. The "Three" refers to the three separate brands of figures; Let's Red, Tenma, and Galatea.

In this guide, I will be going over which figures are best to use for Galatea.

Galatea Rewards

The Galatea brand is where you can obtain the following sets:

  • Health -This set boosts health by 10% if you have two pieces equipped.
  • Crit. Rate - This set boosts your figure's critical rate by 10% if two pieces are equipped.
  • Leech - Gives your figure a 20% lifesteal if four pieces are equipped.
  • Initial Energy - Gives your figures 25 energy at the start of the battle if four pieces are equipped.

The Leech set is one of the most important sets in the entire game. There are multiple areas, The Big Three included, where the extra healing this set provides is crucial for progressing. The Energy set is pivotal in PVP as it can give your team the edge over your opponents and allow you to win matches you shouldn't have otherwise won.

Who Should You Use?

When The Big Three is initially unlocked after clearing 9-1 in the story, you probably won't have the best Galatea team. In fact, you'll probably only have one or two ultras from this brand, so in the early stages just use who you have while following the basic team composition the best you can: 1x vanguard, 1x defender, 1x helper, 1x militarist, and 1x specialist.

You can also use an ignite team core if you have the figures for it. This strategy works great for the early to middle stages of Galatea. You can read more about that team composition in my dedicated ignite team guide.

That being said, here are some of the best figures/team to work towards to help you progress further through the stages.

Zhao Yun

What makes Zhao Yun such a great vanguard is his ability to essentially be his own healer. All vanguard figures have a special ability that gives them an initial 15% chance to dodge attacks—which can be increased to 20% at level 3—and allows them to heal after every successful dodge. Zhao Yun's special, however, also gives him a 10% boost to lifesteal and to his basic attack power meaning he is able to heal more than other vanguards.

His passive, "White Valor," boosts his attack speed and also gives him an increased chance to dodge when you get it to level 3. This combined with his special, and equipping him with a Leech gear set, can make him very difficult to take down.

Gear: Leech & Crit. Damage OR Crit. Chance

Yoko Kasumi

While Yoko is from the Night-9 brand, she is still useable in the Galatea Big Three.

She's arguably the best DPS figure in the game currently. She is able to absorb lethal damage once with her passive, "Hurricane Dance," and for five seconds afterwards, she cannot be defeated nor healed. She immediately dies after those five seconds, but while she is in that "Ghost" state, her attack speed is boosted by 130%.

Her ultimate, "Scarlet Dance," attacks the target four times and adds to a stack of Seals on it. When the target has four stacks of seals, the seals will explode and deal damage to the target and surrounding enemies. When this skill is at level three, the explosion will also stun the target.

Gear: Leech & Crit. Damage OR Crit. Chance

Lu Bu

Lu Bu is a great AOE figure. His passive, "Tiger's Valor," allows him to attack all enemies once each time an ally unleashes their ultimate. At level 2, this skill will also restore five energy to Lu Bu, allowing him to use his ultimate even quicker.

His ultimate, "Ether Halberd," attacks his primary target and the surrounding enemies. This attack can also boost his damage by 20%, as well as boost his attack speed by 10% for each enemy hit once you level it.

Gear: Attack Power OR Leech & Crit. Chance OR Crit. Damage

Sanada Yukimura

Sanada's ultimate, "Blood Slash," attacks enemies in a fan-shaped area, ignites those enemies for eight seconds, and heals 54% of the damage dealt.

He is also able to counterattack with this passive, "Crimson Realm," and each counterattack restores energy. This means that the more he is able to counterattack, the more often he will be able to use his ultimate and heal.

In the later stages of The Big Three, there are two Sakura's that will silence your team, meaning that they aren't able to use their ultimates. So having figures that can heal themselves, like Zhou Yun and Sanada, without the use of their ultimates or the ultimates from support figures is crucial.

Gear: Leech & Defense OR Health
Note - Try to get an Accuracy as the primary stat for the leg and feet gear pieces as Sanada's counterattack ability is based on his accuracy.

Zhuge Liang

Even though Zhuge is a Snow-A figure, he can still be used in the Galatea Big Three.

His ultimate, "Wind Rite," makes him perfect for filling the helper role in Galatea as it attacks all enemies and reduces the amount of heath they restore by 40%. As mentioned previously in later stages of Galatea, there are two Sakura that can be quite annoying as they will continuously heal themselves.

His support passive, "Sky Lantern," boosts adjacent allies' crit. chance by 24% and hooks a lantern to them that absorbs lethal damage once and then turns into a shield. The shield lasts 10 seconds and its strength is based on Zhuge's attack.

Gear: Initial Energy OR Support Bonus & Defense

Other Options

Yoko and Zhuge are harder to acquire than the other figures listed, but there are a few decent replacements you can use if you don't have either of them.

Erikzia and Zhou Yu are good support options to replace Zhuge. Erikzia's ultimate, "Magic Barrier," makes it so that all your figures share damage taken for 12 seconds. Zhou Yu's ultimate, "Age of Prosperity," heals all your figures and boosts their attack speed by 5% as well as ignites all enemies.

Akechi Mitsuhide can be a decent replacement for Yoko. His ultimate, "Divine Sword Futsunomitama," lowers his targets defense by 15% for 5 seconds and heals all your figures if the target is defeated within that time. His passive also helps him pair well with an ignite team as it ignites all enemies for 12 seconds at the start of battle.

Hopefully this has helped give you a solid starting point for your journey through Figure Fantasy. Feel free to comment below if I have missed something, or if you have found a different Galatea strategy that's been working for you!
