What Are Diamonds Used for?

Forge of Empires is a game that requires a lot of patience and time. In order to progress in the game, you will need to stockpile coins, supplies, forge points, and goods. These resources, under normal circumstances, would take months to build up, but the game makers offer you the chance to purchase diamonds with real money to speed up your progress. The purchase of diamonds can be quite expensive, which has caused many players to look for ways to get free diamonds. Fortunately, the game makers, in their wisdom, created a number of hidden quests that will reward players with these highly coveted prizes.

Random Reward Quests

After completing the tutorial with Ragu Silvertongue, you are awarded another set of side missions, starting with Greva Darn asking you to make a jug. These side missions, you will notice, can be aborted. If you hit "abort" enough times, you will come across a series of repeatable quests that offer random rewards. These repeatable quests usually come after the side mission asking you to research mathematics and will only appear if you don't go into Iron Age. The rewards for these quests are randomly given and will be any of the following:

  • 20 Diamonds
  • 1 Medium Forge Point Pack
  • 5 Bronze Age Goods
  • 100 or 300 Coins or Supplies
  • 1 Great Building blueprint
  • 5 Medals

Since these quests are repeatable, you can build your city to exploit them over and over and rack up on free resources, including those rare diamonds everybody loves.

List of Repeatable Quests for Bronze Age

  • Produce 2 Tomatoes
  • Gather 1800 Coins
  • Research 2 Technologies
  • Produce 2 Pots
  • Pay 500 Supplies and 600 Coins
  • Have 4 Horsemen and 4 Warriors
  • Have 4 Spearfighters and 4 Stone Throwers
  • Have 4 Slingers and 4 Spearfighters
  • Produce 2 Helmets
  • Gather 1500 Supplies
  • Spend 8 Forge Points

There are repeatable quest series for each age, but the Bronze Age quests are the easiest to perform. Depending on how much time you invest in playing, you can win hundreds of rewards daily. It is not necessary to exploit every quest in the series; the best ones are Gather 1800 Coins, Spend 8 Forge Points, Produce 2 Helmets, Research 2 Technologies, and Have 4 Slingers and 4 Spearfighters. It will take time to learn the best layout to maximize the rewards you get, but the gains will put you far ahead of your competition, and the free diamonds are the icing on the cake.
