How to Play "Rise of Kingdoms" on Windows/Mac PC

Ever since I was a child, I have been an avid PC Gamer. So, it is no wonder if I write topics about PC gaming and building PC's for gaming.

Since playing Rise of Kingdoms usually require lots of time, players often face battery issues with their phones. In fact, a lot of players prefer playing the game while charging their phones or at least, being accessible to a nearby charger or charging station. Well, for most players, charging their phone whenever needed will suffice in playing the game. But for some, they would prefer playing Rise of Kingdoms on their PC. Why? It won’t require charging their phones for long periods of time which is actually bad for your phones and you would be able to multitask why playing Rise of Kingdoms on your PC. Well, if you don’t know yet that it’s possible, then don’t you worry at all because this guide will show you how to play Rise of Kingdoms on your PC.

Is there a PC (Win/Mac) version of the game?

No, there is literally no Windows/Mac version of the mobile Rise of Kingdoms. You don’t need a Windows/Mac port of the game to play it on PC. All you have to do is to play the same version of the game on your PC/Mac. Yes, you just have to install an android emulator or iOS emulator on your PC to play Rise of Kingdoms on PC. However, you should take note that cross platform play between android and iOS is not available in Rise of Kingdoms. Thus, you will need an android emulator for android users and iOS emulator for iOS users.

How to Play (Android) "Rise of Kingdoms" on PC for Windows/Mac Users?

Before anything else, this is only available for android users. This won't work to those who are playing the game in their iOS mobile devices.

To play Rise of Kingdoms on PC for android users, here are the list of steps you need to follow.

1. Download BlueStacks

There are probably other better android emulators out there for gaming. However, so far, I have been very satisfied with using Bluestacks to play Rise of Kingdoms in my PC. Although some android emulators are highly optimized for gaming, I have never encountered an issue in playing Rise of Kingdoms using Bluestacks. You might notice some lags and graphical glitches from time to time but it is not really something that will greatly lessen your gaming experience. Bluestacks will really suffice your needs in playing Rise of Kingdoms on PC. Probably, the only major drawback of using Bluestacks is the annoying ads that tries to popup. Sometimes it forces you to download a specific game which is pretty annoying. But other than that, everything is quite fine for me.

Other recommended android emulators are GameLoop and MEmu.

2. Install BlueStacks

Don’t you worry about having problems in installing Bluestacks. It is actually very simple. The installation menu is very easy to understand. You just have to click the Install button and you are good to go. Just make sure you skip all the included ads or junk software that the installer tries to install to your PC.

3. Install the game in BlueStacks

If you have no idea how to install Rise of Kingdoms, you just have to find Google Playstore and search Rise of Kingdoms from there. Once you find it, just download it and install it. It is basically similar to how you installed Rise of Kingdoms in your mobile phones.

4. Link your old account to Facebook/Google Play

Go to your mobile phone and run the Rise of Kingdoms. From there, link your account to Facebook/Google Play (Android)/Game Center (iOS).

You should be able to find this option in Governor Profile -> Settings -> Account.

The Governor Profile can be found on the upper left of your screen. Just click the avatar and it should open up your Governor Profile. Just click Link and choose whatever option you prefer. The following are the available options: Facebook or Google Play (Android) / Game Center (iOS)

5. Complete the tutorial

After installing the game, we’ve still have a way to go. Your account is not linked to the game yet so what you have to do next is to play, at least, up to the end of the tutorial of your new account in the game.

6. Switch to your mobile (Android/iOS) account

Once you’ve finished the tutorial, go back again to the Account option. From there, click Switch and choose whatever option you prefer. Make sure you’ve already logged in your accounts before switching your account.

7. Enjoy!

Congratulations! You've completed all the necessary steps to play Rise of Kingdoms on PC. Don't worry about your mobile phone's battery anymore because you'll surely be able to play the game non-stop on your PC.

There are lots of available iOS emulators out there for you to emulate Rise of Kingdoms from your iOS accounts to your PC. However, no known iOS emulator have been working well with iOS apps and games.
