Fat Tank Item Build

The Fat Tank Item Build focuses on raising Akai’s HP and Defense to phenomenal heights! Doing so transforms him into a rather bulky mass of tough meat. Having said that, this is the build that provides the most HP and Defense. As a result, this is the tankiest tank version of Akai that you’ll ever lay your eyes on!

Since Akai is a tank, capitalizing the fact that he is a tank was the basis for this build. It is best not to think much about it. A tank’s role is to dive straight into the center of conflict and soak up all the damage. Luckily, Akai can do more than that!

HP-increasing items greatly benefit Akai. Most of his skills are greatly enhanced proportionally to how much HP he has. Defense, on the other hand, is purely secondary—although it does add a lot of survivability! Equip the right HP-increasing and Defense-increasing items and you get an Akai that’s basically an immortal panda on the battlefield.

1. Cursed Helmet

  • +920 HP
  • +50 Magic Resistance
  • Unique Passive (Burning Soul) – Deals 1.5% of your total HP as magic damage per second to nearby enemies. This effect deals an extra 50% damage to minions.

The Cursed Helmet is one of the most essential equipment for tanks. Considering the fact that tanks are always in the center of any battle, soaking up damage, this item improves your battle power by dishing out continuous damage to the enemies around you. This is especially a great item for Akai because he has insane amounts of HP that he can convert as magic damage.

2. Rapid Boots

  • +50 Movement Speed (Unique)

Rapid Boots provide the highest amount of movement speed in the game. And since Akai does a lot of running, chasing, and escaping with his skills (especially his Hurricane Dance), he needs all the bonus movement speed he can get.

3. Athena’s Shield

  • +900 HP
  • +56 Magic Resistance
  • +20 HP Regen
  • Unique Passive (Shield) – Gains a damage-absorbing shield every 30 seconds. The damage that the shield can absorb grows as the match goes on, maxing out at 1150.

Donning Athena’s Shield provides Akai a huge amount of durability. Conjugated with his already high HP and the effect of his passive skill, this item gives him even more defensive power!

4. Immortality

  • +800 HP
  • +40 Magic Resistance
  • Unique (Immortal) – Resurrects 2 seconds after dying and gains 15% HP and a shield that can absorb 300-1000 points of damage for 3 seconds. This effect has a cooldown of 180 seconds.

Immortality literally renders Akai immortal! Not only do enemies need to get through his insane amounts of HP and defense, with this item, they also have to deal with him in an extended amount of time after he dies the first time. There’s no killing this immortal panda!

5. Wings of the Apocalypse Queen

  • +15 Physical Attack
  • +1000 HP
  • +15% Cooldown Reduction
  • Unique Passive (Demonize) – Reduces the damage you receive by 40% and increases your lifesteal by 15% whenever your HP drops below 40%.

The Wings of the Apocalypse Queen has a lot of benefits. It gives a bit of attack power, a lot of HP, a considerable cooldown reduction, and a unique passive that provides a huge amount of durability. This item even has a unique passive that regenerates huge amounts of HP for Akai whenever he gets kills and assists.

Kung Fu Panda Item Build

The Kung Fu Panda Item Build is all about power! It takes advantage of the fact that Akai has a skill that can largely increase the damage of his basic attack. The skill is Blender, and it’s a skill that grows in power the more HP Akai has.

The main highlights of this build are the Blade of the 7 Seas, the Cursed Helmet, the Wings of the Apocalypse Queen, and the Brute Force Breastplate. In one way or another, they all serve to increase Akai’s HP while also augmenting his attack power. This set-up works really well with his Blender. Every basic attack from him really hurts! Hit the enemies as much as you can and they will know what true pain is.

As a final note, be sure to take full advantage of Thousand Pounder skill. Always use it after casting Blender to ensure that enemies won’t be able to escape the stun effect. After which, rapidly attack them with your basic attack and pummel them to oblivion!
