Pursuit (Passive Skill)

Alucard is an unparalleled demon hunter. Thus, his skill in pursuit is peerless—rendering him difficult to avoid and escape from. The Pursuit passive skill is a skill that allows Alucard to instantly maneuver towards the enemies after using a skill. If it hits 1 enemy, it deals 1.2x of his basic damage. If it hits 2 enemies, it deals 1.1x of his basic damage.

For many heroes, Alucard is a terror in the battlefield. The Pursuit passive skill makes him even more terrifying whenever he is chasing an enemy hero or fighting a one-on-one battle. Heck, even in a two-on-one battle, he is very scary!

Pursuit, as it is aptly named, is meant for hunting enemies! With this passive skill, it is always easy to close the gap between Alucard and the enemies. The bonus damage multiplier also helps a lot since it ensures that Alucard will out-damage his foes most of the time—especially in a one-on-one fight.

Groundsplitter (1st Skill)

The Groundsplitter skill enables Alucard to leap in an area in front of him and deal ground-splitting damage. This skill deals 240 [+160% Total Physical ATK] physical damage to the enemies hit by it and slows them down considerably. It is noteworthy that Alucard can also use this skill to cover some short distance and even jump over walls.

  • Skill Level 1 – 240 Base Damage, 10 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 2 – 270 Base Damage, 9 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 3 – 300 Base Damage, 9 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 4 – 330 Base Damage, 8 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 5 – 360 Base Damage, 8 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 6 – 390 Base Damage, 7 Seconds Cooldown

Groundsplitter is really helpful whenever you are trying to get close to the enemies or you are trying to escape. The damage dealt by Groundsplitter is fairly decent, but damage is purely secondary to this skill. Its main role is to initiate an attack! You use it from the get-go, slash the enemy, and lay waste upon them with your other killer skills.

Remember that you can also Groundsplitter to cover some distance faster and jump through obstacles like ledges and walls. It is always useful whenever you are trying to pull off a surprise attack on the enemy. Nevertheless, you can also use it to make a quick escape from danger.

Whirling Smash (2nd Skill)

With his great sword, Alucard slashes in an area around him to deal enormous damage. This skill deals 230 [+140% Total Physical Attack] physical damage to the enemies surrounding him.

  • Skill Level 1 – 230 Base Damage, 5 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 2 – 260 Base Damage, 5 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 3 – 290 Base Damage, 5 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 4 – 320 Base Damage, 5 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 5 – 350 Base Damage, 5 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 6 – 380 Base Damage, 5 Seconds Cooldown

This is Alucard’s main damaging skill. With a high damage, a low cooldown, and a wide range centered on him, this skill is very devastating! It damages and it withers the life force of the enemies considerably. Combine it with Fission Wave and you get even more lifesteal if there are many enemies around you.

Since Alucard doesn’t really consume mana, the best way to use this skill is to spam it every time it is available. Use it on everyone! Minions, jungle monsters, enemy heroes—name it! Whirling Smash has a very low cooldown so you should use it as much as you can. After all, using it all the time will guarantee that your Pursuit skill will always trigger. Also, the amount of HP you can steal from enemies massively increases as this skill takes from everyone that is hit by it.

Fission Wave (Ultimate Skill)

Fission Wave is Alucard’s most deadly skill. Once activated, it increases his physical lifesteal by 20% and also locks onto an enemy. The enemy that Alucard locks onto receives extra damage from him and also raises the lifesteal effect from 20% to 100% for 8 seconds. Furthermore, as long as this skill is active, Alucard can use it again to launch a powerful shockwave that deals 440 [+220% Total Physical ATK] physical damage on the enemies in a wide area in front of him.

  • Skill Level 1 – 440 Base Damage, 20% Lifesteal, 30 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 2 – 600 Base Damage, 25% Lifesteal, 25 Seconds Cooldown
  • Skill Level 3 – 760 Damage, 30% Lifesteal, 20 Seconds Cooldown

Calling Fission Wave an ultimate skill is actually an understatement. I must say that it is one of the greatest skills that a hero that specializes in high damage output can have. Not only does it provide 20% lifesteal for 8 seconds, it also increases the same lifesteal effect by 100% against the marked enemy. Also, during the 8 seconds that you’re in a state of superpower, you can use it again to launch a powerful shockwave that has a wide range and enormous attack damage. This proves that Fission Wave isn’t only about lifesteal, it is also about power!

The best way to use Fission Wave is to activate it whenever you are trying to engage with an enemy. Even with multiple enemies, this skill has a decent chance of overpowering them all. The massive lifesteal ensures that your HP never runs low. With Whirling Smash, you can take as much HP as you can from the surrounding enemies almost instantaneously. Then, when the enemies are running low on HP (given that they are not already dead) you can tap on this skill once again to deal the decisive blow with an actual fission wave.
