Item Build Ideas for Balmond

Without further ado, here are three item builds that synergize well with Balmond’s demonic blood-based abilities. You can follow them to a tee or even tweak them a little bit. Do whatever it takes to be a legend!

  1. Bloody Guardian
  2. Mad Warlord
  3. Deterrent Chief

1. Bloody Guardian

When it comes to defense, the Bloody Guardian build is one of the best! This build prioritizes defense above all else. It operates under the school of thought that defense is the best offense!

How This Build Works

The defensive power that stems from this build comes from the harmonious combination of HP, Armor, and Magic Resistance. With the three in tow, Balmond can survive the longest on the battlefield. It doesn’t even matter if he soaks up all the damage. He can take a lot of damage and also deal some sustainable damage as well.

While Balmond’s durability cannot compare with most other tanks, he can hold out as long while dealing more damage. This build makes that even more of a possibility. As Balmond derives sustenance from blood, he can go on a bloody rampage with no fear of death.

2. Mad Warlord

Given the fact that Balmond is not just a tank but also a fighter, it is very possible for him to sacrifice most of his defensive power in exchange for tremendous offensive power. That’s where the Mad Warlord build comes in!

How This Build Works

This build has its focus on damage-increasing items. While it is true that Balmond becomes very vulnerable with this build, he receives overwhelming physical power in exchange. In the end, no one can deny the fact that his skills were made to kill. And the best way to make full use of those offensive skills is to increase his physical power to the max!

Even though this build lacks raw defense, Balmond can still last long with his passive ability to absorb life force with each successful kill. For this build, the trick is to take all opportunities of killing—be it minions, jungle monsters, and enemy heroes—to replenish HP, and ultimately survive until the end, leaving nothing but a bloody mountain of corpses!
