Do you like using Claude in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang? If your answer is yes, then this guide is for you!

As the partner in crime of Dexter the monkey, Claude needs to be equipped with the proper items so he can synchronize perfectly with his partner and carry out a successful heist. Fortunately, this guide provides item build ideas for you to use so you can lead Claude to victory.

Item Build Ideas for Claude

Without further ado, here are three item builds that synergize well with Claude’s remarkable thieving proficiency. You can follow them precisely or even tweak them a little bit. Do what it takes to be a legend!

  1. Speed Freak
  2. Critical Rain
  3. Art of Thievery

1. Speed Freak

The speed freak item build is my main equipment set for Claude. That’s because if there’s one thing that Claude can truly show off brilliantly in battle, it’s his insane attack speed!

What This Build Does

This build comprises items that further improve the number of attacks that Claude can deal in the least amount of time. Moreover, this item build significantly boosts his attack power. The key items here are the Demon Hunter Sword and the Golden Staff. With these two items serving as parts of Claude’s weapon arsenal, he becomes a golden demon that knows no rest when it comes to enemy obliteration.

As for the other items here in this build, they all exist to step up Claude’s attack speed and attack power even more.

Item Stats and Bonuses

1. Demon Hunter Sword

  • +35 Physical Attack
  • +25% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Devour): Deals bonus physical damage equal to 9% of the current HP of an enemy with each basic attack. The extra damage caps at 60 points against monsters.
  • Unique Passive (Devour): Grants an extra 4% Physical Lifesteal for 3 seconds with each basic attack. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

2. Swift Boots

  • +15% Attack Speed
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

3. Golden Staff

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +30% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Swift): Converts every 1% Critical Chance into 1% Attack Speed.
  • Unique Passive (Endless Strike): Adds a stack of Endless Strike for every basic attack that the hero performs. Once the hero accumulates 2 stacks of Endless Strike, the next basic attack triggers its effect 3 times.

4. Corrosion Scythe

  • +50 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • +25% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Corrosion): Grants a 50% chance of decreasing the Movement Speed of enemies by 40% with each basic attack. This effect only provides a 20% decrease in Movement Speed for long-ranged basic attacks.
  • Unique Passive (Impulse): Deals damage to enemies with each basic attack and increases Attack Speed by 8% for 3 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

5. Hunter Strike

  • +100 Physical Attack
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • Unique Passive (Hunt): Attacks an enemy 5 times in a row and increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 30% for 3 seconds. This effect has a cooldown of 15 seconds.

6. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair): Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

2. Critical Rain

As its name suggests, the critical rain item build is all about critical attacks!

What This Build Does

Unlike the speed freak item build, the critical rain item build sacrifices a bit of attack speed in exchange for critical attacks. Without the Golden Staff, Claude’s boosted attacks via the effects of his skills and the Demon Hunter Sword become less effective. Nevertheless, that is highly compensated by the critical chance and critical power afforded by this build.

Don’t get me wrong when I say that this item build provides less attack speed. That’s because, in reality, this build still does offer a significant amount of raw attack speed. Add that to the fact that Claude’s critical chance and critical power are extremely high with this build, and he’s sure to cause a deadly critical rain against those who try to oppose him.

Item Stats and Bonuses

1. Demon Hunter Sword

  • +35 Physical Attack
  • +25% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Devour): Deals bonus physical damage equal to 9% of the current HP of an enemy with each basic attack. The extra damage caps at 60 points against monsters.
  • Unique Passive (Devour): Grants an extra 4% Physical Lifesteal for 3 seconds with each basic attack. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

2. Swift Boots

  • +15% Attack Speed
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

3. Windtalker

  • +40% Attack Speed
  • +20 Movement Speed
  • +10% Critical Chance
  • Unique Passive (Typhoon): Causes basic attacks to hit 3 enemies and deal 100 points of magical damage every 3.5 seconds. This effect has a cooldown that decreases depending on the cumulative ascending amount of the hero’s critical chance, damage, and attack speed.
  • Unique Passive (Activate): Increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 5% for a short amount of time after triggering Typhoon.

4. Berserker’s Fury

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25% Critical Chance
  • +40% Critical Damage (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Doom): Increases the hero’s Physical Attack by 5% for 2 seconds after landing a critical hit.

5. Scarlet Phantom

  • +30 Physical Attack
  • +20% Attack Speed
  • +25% Critical Chance
  • Unique Passive (Frenzy): Increases Attack Speed by 30% and Critical Chance by 5% for 2 seconds after landing a critical hit.

6. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair): Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

3. Art of Thievery

You can’t be a master thief if you always get caught—so much so if your success rate and survival chance are low. This is where the art of thievery item build comes in!

What This Build Does

The art of thievery item build offers a balanced amount of speed, attack power, critical chance, defensive effects, and physical lifesteal. Unlike the speed freak item build and the critical rain item build, the art of thievery item build is a bit less of a glass cannon build. The presence here of both the Demon Hunter Sword and Haas’s Claw for physical lifesteal, and the Rose Gold Meteor for its shielding effect proves just that!

This build is pretty much well-balanced. If you want to survive really long on the battlefield whilst still being able to deliver a great deal of damage, then the art of thievery item build might just be the right build for you.
