Which items should you use for Clint in "Mobile Legends"? This guide presents three item builds to consider.

Do you like using Clint in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang? If your answer is yes, then this guide is for you!

As the Wild Wanderer, Clint needs to be equipped with the proper items so he can deliver justice upon the wicked. Fortunately, this guide provides item build ideas for you to use so you can lead him to victory.

Item Build Ideas for Clint

Without further ado, here are three item builds that synergize well with Clint’s frantic antics. You can follow them to a tee or even tweak them a little bit. Do whatever it takes to be a legend!

  1. Critical Cowboy
  2. Speedy Gunner
  3. Wild Marksman

1. Critical Cowboy

As the name suggests, the Critical Cowboy build pivots all resources into giving Clint the maximum attack power he can deal. Due to the fact that all of Clint’s skills are tailored for damage, the best way to take full advantage of them is to make them lethal even more. For this build, it doesn’t matter if Clint sacrifices a bit of attack speed for attack power. After all, there’s a limit to Clint’s attack speed when you need to manually toggle all of his skills.

How This Build Works

Given all the things that were mentioned, this build concentrates on building power and critical damage. This build even boosts the power of Clint’s passive skill. Since Clint’s Quick Draw passive skill allows him to deal 120% of his normal damage and provide him some Physical Penetration, it becomes even more powerful with items dedicated in reinforcing his attack power and critical damage.

When using the Critical Cowboy build, always remember to spam Clint’s skills as much as you can. I am quite certain that for each skill you use, the succeeding attacks will be even more deadly.

2. Speedy Gunner

If you’re too lazy to use Clint’s skills in a hurried manner and complex way, then the Speedy Gunner build is perfect for you!

This build doesn’t care much about the usage of Clint’s skills. I’m not saying you should totally abandon using skills with this build in tow. I’m just saying that you won’t be needing to use them as the game progresses.

How This Build Works

Since the focus of this build is on attack speed, the only thing you need to do is to snipe your enemies safely from a distance. Use your skills if necessary, but only to further boost your damage output. If the game reaches the point where you have already completed your item set, then there will be no need to dish out complicated skill combinations. All you have to do then is to shoot as fast as your attack speed can permit. With all things considered, this build is not only about attack speed. It is also about attack power and critical damage!

Item Stats and Bonuses

1. Demon Hunter Sword

  • +35 Physical Attack
  • +25% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Devour): Deals bonus physical damage equal to 10% of the current HP of an enemy with each basic attack. The extra damage caps at 60 points against monsters.

2. Swift Boots

  • +15% Attack Speed

3. Scarlet Phantom

  • +30 Physical Attack
  • +20% Attack Speed
  • +25% Critical Chance

  • Unique Passive (Doom): Increases the hero’s Physical Attack by 5% for 2 seconds after landing a critical hit.

5. Windtalker

  • +40% Attack Speed
  • +20 Movement Speed
  • +10% Critical Chance
  • Unique Passive (Typhoon): Causes basic attacks to hit 3 enemies and deal 100 points of magical damage every 3.5 seconds. This effect has a cooldown that decreases depending on the cumulative ascending amount of the hero’s critical chance, damage, and attack speed.
  • Unique Passive (Activate): Increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 5% for a short amount of time after triggering Typhoon.

6. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair): Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 30% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

3. Wild Marksman

The Wild Marksman build is the most balanced build on this list. It offers reasonable attack power, critical damage, attack speed, and cooldown reduction. With this build, you are free to use your basic attack and skills in complement with one another.

How This Build Works

The presence of the Raptor Machete here in this build implies that you should focus on farming gold and experience by jungling in the early stages of the game. That way, you can purchase your other core items as quick as possible. Once you successfully complete your item set, you can exchange this item with a Malefic Roar for more damage if you so wish.

The key with this build is that you finish the game as fast as you can. If not, then at least you should overpower your enemies earlier than they can build their item sets. Since this build is well-balanced, it is not too powerful nor is it too complicated to use. It is quite simple but rather effective. If you use it properly and spare no chance for your enemies to keep up with you, then victory is as good as yours.

Item Stats and Bonuses

1. Raptor Machete

  • +30 Physical Attack
  • +15 Physical Penetration
  • +30% Damage to Monsters (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Greed): Gains 30% extra experience when jungling. Also, regains 4% of total HP and 10% of total Mana after killing a jungle monster.
  • Unique Passive (Gorge): Increases Physical Attack by 4 points every time a jungle monster is killed. This effect can stack up to 10 times. Also, the “Retribution” battle spell becomes applicable to enemy heroes by having the effect of reducing their Movement Speed by 70%, which gradually decays within 3 seconds. Using “Retribution” also deals a small amount of true damage against enemy heroes.

2. Swift Boots

  • +15% Attack Speed
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

3. Demon Hunter Sword

  • +35 Physical Attack
  • +25% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Devour): Deals bonus physical damage equal to 10% of the current HP of an enemy with each basic attack. The extra damage caps at 60 points against monsters.
  • Unique Passive (Devour): Grants an extra 4% Lifesteal for 3 seconds with each basic attack. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

4. Endless Battle

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25 Mana Regeneration
  • +250 HP
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • +15% Lifesteal
  • Unique Passive (Divine Justice): Deals extra true damage equal to 85% of Physical Attack with the next basic attack after using a skill. This effect has a cooldown of 1.5 seconds.
  • Unique Passive (Chase Fate): Increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 15% whenever Divine Justice is triggered.

5. Berserker’s Fury

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25% Critical Chance
  • +40% Critical Damage (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Doom): Increases the hero’s Physical Attack by 5% for 2 seconds after landing a critical hit.

6. Blade of Despair

  • Unique Passive (Despair): Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 30% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

Ractor Machete- effective for jugling with( RETRIBUTION)

CD reduction (Boots)-quick skill (10℅ CD)

Endless Battle- basic attack damage with quik skill(10% CD)(TRUE DAMAGE)( MANA REGEN) use skill first before dealing basic attack damage

Berserker's fury-Critical damage that can combine with clint (Quikdraw-passive)

Blade of despair- (Damage) for dealing huge damage to an enemy

Thunder belt- (TRUE DAMAGE) for killing tank (SLOW effect-passive)(10% CD) best for cathing up enemy

After buying all of this item sell the (Raptor Machete) and buy Blade of heptasis for further more damage and ganking but before dealing damage to an enemy use skill first then deal basic attack damage

This item is good for killing (Marksman) and (SQUISHY HERO)

Benedict Mancilla on November 06, 2019:

I am clint main

Thunder built (its a good item to boost your passive damage, however the chance for me to build it will depend on enemy composition. If the enemy has squishy heroes like karina, kimmy zilong, alucard and other that targets you i build it. However, after that item being nerf, I don't use it often because i need to compete with other mm damage, therefore my core items are,

endless battle,

berserker fury,

blade of despair.

Malefic roar if there's so tanky enemy,

Demon hunter sword to survive masha

Scarlet phantom, i save it for last, clint don't need lots of speeds.

As for boots, i switch to swift boots over mana, you need it to at least help your team a lot when your passive isn't strong enough to destroy someone's HP in the early game.

There's no constant item i build, I always adjust it depending on enemy.

Im not pro but, I made to top2 local before though I stop playing for a while.

And the key to win is not your build but on how your teammates perform also.

Can you do a revamped valir build? Your build are awesome

Jester Patao on July 23, 2019:

Could you do a Bane and Valir build? Your other builds have been very helpful! ^^

HokageSuccessor on June 15, 2019:

I use a different build than yours and I find it very effective but that does not mean your builds are bad as my build just matches the playstyle I use when I'm with Clint. So here I'll list my build:

1. Endless Battle (core item)

2. Demon Shoes or Mana boots (You will lose a lot of mana with my playstyle trust me)

3. Thunder Belt (core item)

4. Berserker's Fury (core item)

5. Blade Of Despair (Extra physical damage)

6. Malefic Roar (Physical penetration)

With this build I can literally 2 shot any squishies early and late game. You can change Malefic Roar for any item you need to counter build like Deadly Blade if there is a hero with strong life steal or spell vamp like Alice.

Lobes_exp. on May 26, 2019:

A tip from season 9 top global clint user.... Guys, u should try this build .... I'll say its a much better build than those 3.

Depending on the situation u can change the first 3 items...

1. Berserker's fury*

2. Swift boots*

3. Endless battle*

4. Scarlet phantom

5. Thunderous belt (recommended item for current meta. It is a tank item.)

6. Blade of despair

Recommend spells:

Retribution/ purify/ flicker.

Assassin or marksman emblem (depending on the type of player u are. I mostly gank so using ass emblem will increase movement speed.)

Try it!! It works against current meta heroes. :)

Swift boots is my first item than endless battle

random gamer on October 09, 2018:

Not saying my builds better than yours but i just want to share my build as it gave me many wins when using clint

Battle spell:Retribution(rec. you use with jungle emblem and have good tank/semitank),Flicker, Sprint(alternate to flicker), Purify helps free you from cc and makes you run faster

Emblem:Jungle(rec. you get retribution),MM self explanatory, Assassin youll be getting kills mid to late game sooo...

Swift boots:for mov. spd. and a small amount of atk. spd.

Endless Battle:gives many benefits all witch benefits clint a lot in terms of dmg and mana(defense not listed as its not a whole load of defense)

Berserkers Fury:Good crit chance plus extra crit dmg when you land a crit

Blade of seven seas:Lowers target armor by 25 and since your skill reliant(to trigger passive) this might be a very good item for you

Thunderbelt:Gives some armor to last longer if you find yourself getting atked by any phy dmg heros, mana, ect best part is more true dmg and can slow every 1.5 sec

Blade of Despair:High dmg plus good passive as it helps finish squishys with a skill passive combo mostly in on go

notes:If you are jungling i recommend you get pillager axe early game as it helps you live longer with its passive if you kill the jungle monster if you lane bot or top plus are planning on using retribution I recomend this(Hopfully your with a tank or something with good defense); if your having trouble with mages either swap Thunderbelt with Rose gold mentor, swap Blade of Despair for Rose Gold Mentor, or you can ignore or forget using my build and check others out; Blade of Despair is kinda optional I guess so if you feel like using something else besides that go ahead and do it

I hope my build is helpful to others and sorry if this dosen't work out for you
