Starlit Hourglass (Passive Skill)

Cyclops has a deep connection with stars. Hence, he has access to the forces that control time. With the power of the Starlit Hourglass, Cyclops manipulates time in order to reduce the cooldown of his skills by 0.5 second whenever his skills successfully hit the enemy.

Starlit Hourglass is one of the most useful passive skills for mages in the game. It is also what makes Cyclops extremely abrasive in a fight. Imagine a massive reduction in cooldown for all skills each time a they successfully hit an enemy. That is extremely annoying and nettlesome for the opposition! A significant decrease in cooldown drastically improves spammability! And the more spammability Cyclops has, the deadlier he gets!

In order to make full use of this passive skill, be sure to utilize all your other skills as much as you can. The more skill attacks that hit the enemy, the lesser the cooldown for your next barrage of skill attacks! Note that this skill glimmers to its fullest potential in the late game where your mana is almost limitless, have the highest skill levels, and have maxed cooldown reduction from items.

Stardust Shock (1st Skill)

Having the ability to connect with the stars and seek for their help, Cyclops can gather the magical power of the stars in order to unleash two shockwaves of stardust in a straight line in front of him. Each wave of stardust deals 220 [+60% Total Magic Power] magical damage to the enemy. This skill can hit multiple enemies at the same time.

  • Skill Level 1 – 220 Base Damage, 9 Seconds Cooldown, 100 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 2 – 255 Base Damage, 9 Seconds Cooldown, 100 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 3 – 290 Base Damage, 9 Seconds Cooldown, 100 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 4 – 325 Base Damage, 9 Seconds Cooldown, 100 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 5 – 360 Base Damage, 9 Seconds Cooldown, 100 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 6 – 395 Base Damage, 9 Seconds Cooldown, 100 Mana Consumption

While it doesn’t have a very wide coverage, Stardust Shock has a long range and a decent damage to boot. It is slow and easy to dodge, but if aimed right, it can poke enemies until they come running back to their base. Moreover, this skill has a very low cooldown! Paired up with cooldown reduction items and Cyclops’ Starlit Hourglass, you’ve got a skill that is totally spammable and annoying.

Since this is a skill that enables you to take down enemies from afar, you better use it from a safe distance. Keep your distance and watch the HP of your enemies. If you are certain that you’ve dwindled an enemy’s HP enough, then you can march in and deal the final blow with Planets Attack and Star Power Lockdown.

Planets Attack (2nd Skill)

With the power of the stars and the planets, Cyclops can generate multiple starlit spheres around him. The starlit spheres have the power to increase his movement speed considerably for a short period of time. Also, when nearby enemies (especially enemy heroes), the starlit spheres will automatically attack dealing 210 [+50% Total Magic Power] magical damage to them. Do note that the damage decays if the starlit spheres hit the same target multiple times.

  • Skill Level 1 – 210 Base Damage, 14 Seconds Cooldown, 75 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 2 – 250 Base Damage, 13 Seconds Cooldown, 85 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 3 – 290 Base Damage, 13 Seconds Cooldown, 95 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 4 – 330 Base Damage, 12 Seconds Cooldown, 105 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 5 – 370 Base Damage, 12 Seconds Cooldown, 115 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 6 – 410 Base Damage, 11 Seconds Cooldown, 125 Mana Consumption

Planets Attack is Cyclops’ most deadly skill in his arsenal. Both early and late game, this skill truly shines! Five starlit spheres attacking a single enemy is no joke! Combine that with Starlit Hourglass, Stardust Shock, and Star Power Lockdown and you’ve got an offensive skill that not only cause excessive damage but also serves as a hazardous protective barrier for you. Additionally, this skill increases your movement speed so it enables you to chase and escape easily depending on the situation.

Due to the fact that Planets Attack summons five starlit spheres, it massively reduces the cooldown of all of your skills if all the starlit spheres hit. This skill greatly helps in keeping the attacks coming and ensuring that you survive the battle. Never forget that this skill increases your movement speed, so use it as you see fit. Escape when necessary, go in for the kill if possible!

Star Power Lockdown (Ultimate Skill)

Star Power Lockdown is the ultimate power of the stars. With the generation of magic from the stars at its fullest, Cyclops creates a dense planetary sphere to track an enemy. With concentrated energy, the planetary sphere deals 600 [+220% Total Magic Power] magical damage on the enemy. Additionally, it locks the enemy inside for 1-2 seconds based on the flight distance of the planetary sphere. The farther the planetary sphere travels, the longer the enemy is locked inside.

  • Skill Level 1 – 600 Base Damage, 43 Seconds Cooldown, 160 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 2 – 750 Base Damage, 43 Seconds Cooldown, 180 Mana Consumption
  • Skill Level 3 – 900 Base Damage, 43 Seconds Cooldown, 200 Mana Consumption

In both solo play and team play, Star Power Lockdown guarantees inescapable damage for the enemy. You can either use it to lock an enemy and unleash your magical fury upon them or lock them and let your team carry out the execution. This skill deals great damage and even traps the enemy in place for 1-2 seconds. If that isn’t enough to snuff the life out of your enemy, then your other skills and your teammates can join the fray to deliver the decisive death blow!

If you see an enemy escaping with low HP, don’t hesitate! Use this skill to lock them down and beat the living daylight out of them. Nothing can escape from the power of the stars!
