Crippling Gun

Considering the fact that Granger is excessively skill-reliant, the best items that suit him are those that have crippling effects. Thus, the Crippling Gun Item Build was born!

This build dominates all the stages of the game, be it early, mid, or late! This is exactly the reason why crafting Wizard Boots has the utmost crafting priority. It’s all to ensure that every assist that Granger makes largely contributes to his gold pool, allowing him to reach the completion of this build as fast as he can.

The next three items—the Endless Battle, the Bloodlust Axe, and the Thunder Belt—are the mainstays of this build. Not only do these items boost Granger’s attack power, they also offer huge bonuses in damage, lifesteal, and impairing effects. These three items also work synergistically with Granger’s fatal skills. The more Granger uses his skills with these three items in tow, the deadlier he becomes.

The last two items—the Blade of Despair and the Malefic Roar—only serve as icing to the cake. The main purpose of these two items is to cap Granger’s damage potential and make sure that every hit coming from him is not only crippling, but also lethal.

1. Wizard Boots

  • +300 HP
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Plunder) – Grants 80 gold for each assist.

2. Endless Battle

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25 Mana Regeneration
  • +250 HP
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • +15% Physical Lifesteal
  • Unique Passive (Divine Justice) – Deals extra true damage equal to 85% of Physical Attack with the next basic attack after using a skill. This effect has a cooldown of 1.5 seconds.
  • Unique Passive (Chase Fate) – Increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 10% whenever Divine Justice is triggered.

3. Bloodlust Axe

  • +70 Physical Attack
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +20% Spell Vampirism (Unique)

4. Thunder Belt

  • +800 HP
  • +30 Mana Regeneration
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +40 Physical Defense
  • Unique Passive (Thunderbolt) – Deals bonus attack damage equal to 2% of the hero’s total HP with the next basic attack after using a skill. This unique passive also slows down enemy targets and their surrounding allies for 1.5 seconds on hit. This effect can only trigger once every 1.5 seconds.

5. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair) – Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

6. Malefic Roar

  • +60 Physical Attack
  • +40% Physical Penetration (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Armor Buster) – Causes basic attacks to ignore 20% of the defensive armor of turrets.

Bullet Hell

The moniker of this build actually does it justice! Why? That’s because this Bullet Hell Item Build is literally hell to all opposition!

The Bullet Hell Item Build guarantees extremely high damage output at the shortest amount of time for Granger. This is made possible by all the damage-boosting and cooldown-reducing items in this build. Hence, we have the Magic Shoes as the lead core item.

The Berserker’s Fury and the Blade of Despair are built early-on to render Granger as formidable as possible. This, in turn, transforms him into a mean killing machine on the get-go. The Bloodlust Axe and the Hunter Strike drastically reduces the cooldown of Granger’s skills and boost their damage, resulting in a tempest of deadly bullets whenever he’s out for blood. And to add insult to injury, we craft the Malefic Roar to yield penetrative damage that truly hurts till death.

Trust me, any enemy wouldn’t enjoy getting caught in the bullet hell that this build can dump down on the battle field.

1. Magic Shoes

  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

2. Berserker’s Fury

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25% Critical Chance
  • +40% Critical Damage (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Doom) – Increases the hero’s Physical Attack by 5% for 2 seconds after landing a critical hit.

3. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair) – Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

4. Bloodlust Axe

  • +70 Physical Attack
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +20% Spell Vampirism (Unique)

5. Hunter Strike

  • +100 Physical Attack
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • Unique Passive (Hunt) – Attacks an enemy 5 times in a row and increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 30% for 3 seconds. This effect has a cooldown of 15 seconds.

6. Malefic Roar

  • +60 Physical Attack
  • +40% Physical Penetration (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Armor Buster) – Causes basic attacks to ignore 20% of the defensive armor of turrets.

Last Stand

The Last Stand Item Build does not really differ much from Granger’s other builds aside from the fact that this one is more defensive and rather effective skill-wise.

As the entry item, the Blade of the Heptaseas massively adds damage to Granger’s skills. Not only that, it also gives him bonus HP that can most likely save him from dire situations during the early game. Next, we have the Magic Shoes and the Bloodlust Axe to reduce the cooldown of his skills, allowing for greater spammability and DPS. The Bloodlust Axe also offers a spell vampirism effect that enables Granger to regain HP proportional to the damage he dishes out with his skills.

Next, we have the Rose Gold Meteor. This particular item highly contributes to the defensiveness of this build. Not only does it add a lot of attack power, it also has huge potential to save Granger’s life during critical situations with its shielding effect.

As for the last two items, we have the Malefic Roar and the Blade of Despair. These two items have obvious roles—to boost Granger’s damage-dealing prowess even more and make him reach the peak of his gun expertise.

1. Blade of the Heptaseas

  • +75 Physical Attack
  • +300 HP
  • Unique Passive (Steamroll) – Reduces the defense of enemies by 25 points for 3 seconds when hitting them with damaging skills.

2. Magic Shoes

  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

3. Bloodlust Axe

  • +70 Physical Attack
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +20% Spell Vampirism (Unique)

4. Rose Gold Meteor

  • +60 Physical Attack
  • +30 Magical Defense
  • +5% Physical Lifesteal
  • Unique Passive (Lifeline) – Grants a shield that can absorb 510-1350 damage (increases with level) for 3 seconds when the hero’s HP drops below 30%. This effect has a cooldown of 40 seconds.

5. Malefic Roar

  • +60 Physical Attack
  • +40% Physical Penetration (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Armor Buster) – Causes basic attacks to ignore 20% of the defensive armor of turrets.

6. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair) – Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.
