Do you like using Johnson in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang? If your answer is yes, then this guide is for you!

As the Mustang, Johnson needs to be equipped with the proper items so he can zoom his way towards triumph. Fortunately, this guide provides item build ideas for you to use so you can lead him to victory.

Item Build Ideas for Johnson

Without further ado, here are three item builds that synergize well with Johnson’s domineering defensive prowess. You can follow them precisely or even tweak them a little bit. Do whatever it takes to be a legend!

  1. Power Mechanism
  2. Energy Kamikaze
  3. Armored Mecha

1. Power Mechanism

Despite the fact that Johnson is better suited for defense than offense, the Power Mechanism build tries to strike a balance between the two. Thus, this build provides a suitable amount of defensive power while making sure that Johnson can still deliver some decent yet consistent damage.

What This Build Does

Most of the items here raise HP, HP Regeneration, Armor, and Magic Resistance. As such, Johnson is still quite tanky with this build. In fact, this build promises a lot more defensive power than expected.

While this build isn’t the best when it comes to pure defense, it does provide some damage through the unique passive of the Cursed Helmet. Since Johnson has very high durability, he can stay in place longer to deal continuous damage to enemies who dare come near him. Use the Cursed Helmet’s unique passive in conjunction with Johnson’s Electromag Rays skill and you’ll be able to clear out minion waves fast and even deal sustained damage against enemy heroes.

This effect wears off after 5 seconds of the hero taking damage.

2. Energy Kamikaze

Before anything else, let me tell you that the Energy Kamikaze build is purely a gimmicky build. It disregards all of Johnson’s capabilities in order to focus on just one skill: his Rapid Touchdown ultimate skill!

What This Build Does

This build concentrates everything into increasing Johnson’s magic power. Magic power, as we all know, is what increases the damage of Johnson’s Rapid Touchdown ultimate skill. Hence, if you’re planning to use Johnson only in his vehicle form, then this build is the most effective build for him.

Magic power, magic penetration, and cooldown reduction—you can get all of these with this build! Plus, there’s the Fleeting Time that has the unique passive of drastically reducing the cooldown of Johnson’s Rapid Touchdown ultimate skill.

Before you use this build, be sure that you’re already a professional when it comes to using Johnson’s Rapid Touchdown ultimate skill. You will only be as good as some piece of junk metal on the battlefield if you don’t know how to maneuver Johnson while he is in his vehicle form.

What This Build Does

This build offers a lot of Armor. For this reason, Johnson becomes very durable, and most of his skills increase in effectiveness. Since Johnson is one of the most durable tank heroes in the game, this build draws out his full potential as an impregnable tank. With this build, he can soak as much damage as he can without worrying about dying unceremoniously.

If you intend to use Johnson as a full-fledged, armored, mecha tank, then this build will definitely suit you well!
