Do you like using Lancelot in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang? If your answer is yes, then this guide is for you!

As the perfumed knight, Lancelot needs to be equipped with the proper items so he can reach his full potential. Fortunately, this guide provides item build ideas for you to use so you can lead him to victory.

Item Build Ideas for Lancelot

Without further ado, here are three item builds that synergize well with Lancelot’s magnificent fencing techniques. You can follow them precisely or even tweak them a little bit. Do whatever it takes to be a legend!

  1. En Garde
  2. Parry Strike
  3. Feint Lunge

1. En Garde

The En Garde build is all about offense. That being said, the primary focal points for this build are cooldown reduction and attack power.

How to Use This Build

Since Lancelot is highly dependent on his skills, there’s no need to worry about dealing consistent damage with his basic attack. The main purpose of Lancelot’s basic attack is to diminish the defensive power of the enemy through his Soul Cutter passive skill. In this regard, you only need to deal one basic attack in order to strip off the armor of the enemy before you begin to unleash your annihilative combination of fencing skills.

Although this build provides a lot of attack power and cooldown reduction, it turns Lancelot into a glass cannon. This is a build that is purely based on offense and has almost zero involvement with defense. That is why if you’re trying to use this build, you have to exercise extreme caution especially during clashes.

Lancelot may be exceedingly coercive with the En Garde build, but he’s also extremely fragile. Only strike when you must! Be sure that you have an escape plan ready whenever you’re diving in for the kill. Always have your allies rally before you. For this build, it is important that you stick to the code of the assassin. Carry out swift assassinations and you’ll certainly do well with this build.

  • Unique Passive (Despair): Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 30% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

2. Parry Strike

Unlike the En Garde build, the Parry Strike build adds a huge amount of defensive power into the mix. As such, this build is perfect for defensive plays.

While it is true that this build sacrifices some attack power in exchange for defense, it doesn’t really render Lancelot’s skills ineffective. In fact, this build can deliver significant amounts of damage at a sustained rate. Killing enemy heroes will unquestionably take longer, but at the very least, Lancelot will be able to bring them down to their graves and maybe even survive.

How to Use This Build

The chances of Lancelot surviving with this build in tow are pretty high as compared to the En Garde build. That means you get to deal a lot of damage in an extended amount of time without you worrying about sudden deaths. Still, you must take care not to get outnumbered. Always work conscientiously with your allies and you’ll be able to make the most out of the defensive power brought upon by the Parry Strike Item Build.

3. Feint Lunge

The Feint Lunge build is meant for players who want to achieve victory as quick as possible. In this regard, it’s quite obvious that this build’s most rudiment precedence is jungling.

The best jungling item for Lancelot is the Raptor Machete. Not only does this item make jungling a lot more easy, it also provides ample amounts of physical attack and physical penetration. Once Lancelot manages to farm enough experience and gold, he can freely roam the battlefield and assassinate helpless enemy heroes.

How to Use This Build

Take note that this build only provides up to 30% cooldown reduction. Even so, Lancelot’s skills do refresh quite fast. The rate at which Lancelot’s skills refresh is totally negligible if you’re precise with your actions. This build also turns Lancelot into a glass cannon so be very careful when you’re roaming around the battlefield alone.

Nevertheless, once you complete this build’s core items, you’ll be unstoppable. By the end, you can even swap the Raptor Machete with a Blade of Despair for more attack power. Remember this though: “Finish the game as fast as you can!” You don’t want the enemy heroes to catch up to you. The faster and earlier you can slaughter them all, the better! Take no prisoner and grasp victory as soon as possible!

Item Stats and Bonuses

1. Raptor Machete

  • Unique Passive (Gorge): Increases Physical Attack by 4 points every time a jungle monster is killed. This effect can stack up to 10 times. Also, the “Retribution” battle spell becomes applicable to enemy heroes by having the effect of reducing their Movement Speed by 70%, which gradually decays within 3 seconds. Using “Retribution” also deals a small amount of true damage against enemy heroes.

I am using it for around 5 months i am not preety sure i m perfect but i can say i can kill anyone in 2 strikes in a second : ). I mostly prefer the first one true damage build becoz if u r lance better stick with assissan rules no need for defence as u will not get first in a fight those r for tanks n fighters hold bushes until enemy have used ther ults and sudden attack is a strategy suits me though every one has his own fighting style..........

Chong Jia Tao on January 31, 2020:

I don't play Lancelot but I got my own build

zxuan zhen on June 20, 2019:

Hi Hi (im not zxuan hehe) but as Singapore No. 6 lancelot (season 9) i think i should share my build with you guys.

Before i start of with the build, i think the emblem is very important.

The emblem i use all the time for Lancelot is:

Assassin emblem,

Bounty hunter.

And i will upgrade 3 levels of cooldown reduction and 3 level of spell vamp!

And battle spell would definitely be retribution.

Lets continue without build!

1. Pillager Axe (to be sold away during late game)

Lancelot is and assassin and for sure he does need to farm. But why not nimble blade is because in harsh situations, the small extra shield and slowdown might be the reason why you survived or might even be the reason you killed the opponent which was initially chasing after your ass. ( but of course you need to follow the rest of my build to save your life )

2. Rapid boots.

As Lancelot is a charger and a burst damage assassin, high movement speed is very important for him so that he can roam around faster and engage as well as gank.

3. Endless battle.

+65 Physical Attack

+25 Mana Regeneration

+250 HP

+10% Cooldown Reduction

+5% Movement Speed

+15% Lifesteal

Unique Passive (Divine Justice)

Unique Passive (Chase Fate)

For a $2470 item, it can cover tons of things like health, mana regeneration, cooldown reduction, etc etc... Its a must have item for Lancelot.

4. Blade Of Despair. (Bod)

Before buying Bod, The shop will always prioritize 2 legions swords. And in early mid game, if you are farming correctly, just with one legion sword you will have tons of physical damage enough to ambush and kill a marksman, mage or support. And also Bod's passive will enhance Lancelot's burst even further, that's why Lancelot needs it.

5. Bloodlust Axe

Bloodlust Axe is a needy item for Lancelot to turret dive as Lancelot depends on his skills. When Lancelot is low in health, Bloodlust's passive, spell vamp, could regenerate enough health for Lancelot to engage to the enemies again. By using the 2nd ability on one wave of minions(3 minions) can actually regain as much health as your regen skill!.

6.Athena Shield, Immortality or Thunder Belt .

If the opponent team has got high magic damage, athena shield would be suitable. The shield can be an extra hand to help you with your turret diving and the magic resistance can help you to reduce the magic damage. However, you can also buy Immortality if the opponent has deadly stun effects. As Lancelot should be roaming, most of the time the tank would be following the marksman or mage to assist them to push or ambush instead. When you revive, you should react fast and cast a skill immediately to regain some health with the help of bloodlust axe. But, if the opponent has only one or less magic damage dealer, Thunder belt is suitable in this situation. Thunder Belt consist of physical defensive and some HP. The 10% cooldown reduction is also very useful. The passive of Thunder belt, 2% of true damage, can also balance the defense and offense. Thunder Belt is also a useful item for some heroes.

7. Rose Gold Meteor / Malefic Roar. (You should sell your pillager axe at this time.)

If you bought immortality already, you should not buy rose gold meteor. However, if you chose Thunder Belt or Athena Shield, Rose Gold Meteor might be the one which saves your ass with his passive. The shield might save you from opponents ambush or engage.

However, if you already bought immortality and your marksman is just trash and not pushing the turrets, Malefic roar will be the best choice as its passive states that it ignores 20% of the turret's defense. This could be the item which secures your win! The physical penetration and 60 physical attack is also very helpful for a burst assassin.

Hope my tips could help you up rank and save you from toxic teammates who only talks without actions!

I will see you in mythical glory :)

Jerome Elijah Ang from Philippines on December 03, 2018:

I've been using Lancelot for a while in Ranked Mode and I can say that he's success in the battlefield relies much more on game-play rather that setting up his gear build. Here's my recommendation on how to play and gear-up Lancelot on Mobile Legends' Season 10's battlefield.

Items to be set at the Preparation Page:

1. Rapid Boots

2. Endless Blade

3. Blade of Despair

4. Scarlet Phantom

5. Berserker's Fury

6. Wings of the Apocalypse Queen

Ability/Spell to be used: Retribution

Emblems & Talents to be used: Custom Assassin Emblem Set

Early Items and Build:

Always take the mid lane no matter what! Don't purchase the boots first instead select the Pillager Axe in the Jungle Section and then click Prioritize to set it as your first purchase. Then you will see Hunter's Knife recommended for purchase on the corner of the screen. Don't buy it yet too! Purchase Pillager Axe as soon as it is ready to be purchased as a whole, then you may start your left and right jungle farming and kill stealing. Stack up Pillager Axe's buff as soon as possible but don't overdo it.

Core Items and Build:

As soon as you purchase Rapid Boots and Endless Blade, set Beast Killer as your next purchase by prioritize it on the item shop.

Secure and amass kills during this stage to purchase Blade of Despair as soon as possible.

Late Items and Build:

Continue on finishing your build and, probably, by the time you've purchase Scarlet Phantom, victory in waiting to be delivered to your team.

SE7EN on September 30, 2018:

Since Lancelot got Nerf, that item won't suit him,I don't really have the best item for him,but it's good for me,this item depends on how you play Lancelot...

1: "Magic Shoes","Warrior Boots" or ("Rapid Boots" if you're a roamer)

2: "Endless Battle"

3: "Blade Of Despair"

4: "Scarlet Phantom" that's what I call "True Fencing"

5: "Thunder Belt" (if im not wrong)

6: "Rose Gold Meteor" good for tower diving

Yep..as you can see,no spell vamp, you my try it,in custom first, once you master how to use his basic attacks, then you are ready to use this item..and dont spam his skills, use your basic attack after using a skill, and repeat again..well,i guess that's all I can help..good luck
