Accursed Knight Item Build

The Accursed Knight Item Build is my go-to build for Leomord. It’s my favorite because it empowers Leomord to soak up on damage whilst dealing appreciable damage against his enemies as well.

Despite the fact that this build is not the best for offensive plans of action, it compensates by allowing Leomord to employ hit-and-run maneuvers. Here are some key points for this build’s stratagem:

  • Whenever you can, use your skills to harass the enemies. Position yourself in such a way that you’ll be able to hit the highest number of enemy minions and heroes.
  • Chase enemy heroes whenever you can. Remember that this build offers significant bulk and defense. There’s no way you’re going down easily with this build.
  • Whenever opportunity arises, go for tower dives with your special skill, Phantom Steed. Low-health enemy heroes will surely regret underestimating your tankiness, mobility, and the fact that they did not retreat early to recover some HP.
  • Once you complete this item build, don’t hesitate on initiating clashes. It’s important to know that this build legitimatizes you as a tanky fighter. You have the durability, attack power, and mobility to effortlessly wreak havoc upon the opposition.

Overall, the Accursed Knight Item Build is pretty balanced in terms of defense and offense. It’s an exceptional build for newbies and adept players alike. It’s effective and easy to use. That’s why it’s my favorite build for Leomord.

Dread Cavalier Item Build

Leomord is truly a dread in the battlefield. He’s powerful, bulky, and mobile. There’s literally no escaping him once he sets his eyes on you. Therefore, the Dread Cavalier Item Build seems dreadfully fitting for him.

The Dread Cavalier Item Build focuses on Leomord’s ability to chase any foe. The Warrior Boots and the Wings of the Apocalypse Queen are suitable for him because these items increase his defense even if just for a bit. And as expected, the remaining items are for boosting his offense.

The main highlight of this build is actually the Thunder Belt. It allows Leomord to significantly slow down all enemies, if not completely stop them on their track. Once the enemies are rendered immobile, then Leomord and his allies can deliver the dreadful fate that inevitably awaits them.

Remember, this build turns Leomord into a chase-type hero. The main purpose of this build is to allow Leomord to chase enemies and pummel them to the ground. While it’s true that this build renders Leomord a bit squishy, remember that you have the Wings of the Apocalypse Queen to help you survive once your HP dwindles down. Once its effect is extinguished, simply make a strategic retreat, recoup for HP, and wait until the right moment for attack comes by again.

1. Warrior Boots

  • +22 Physical Defense
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Valor) – Raises Physical Defense by 5 points for 3 seconds every time a basic attack is received from the enemies. This effect can stack up to 5 times for a total increase of 25 points in Physical Defense.

2. Bloodlust Axe

  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +20% Spell Vampirism (Unique)

3. Endless Battle

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25 Mana Regeneration
  • +250 HP
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • +15% Physical Lifesteal
  • Unique Passive (Divine Justice) – Deals extra true damage equal to 85% of Physical Attack with the next basic attack after using a skill. This effect has a cooldown of 1.5 seconds.
  • Unique Passive (Chase Fate) – Increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 10% whenever Divine Justice is triggered.

4. Thunder Belt

  • +800 HP
  • +30 Mana Regeneration
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +40 Physical Defense
  • Unique Passive (Thunderbolt) – Deals bonus attack damage equal to 2% of the hero’s total HP with the next basic attack after using a skill. This unique passive also slows down enemy targets and their surrounding allies for 1.5 seconds on hit. This effect can only trigger once every 1.5 seconds.

5. Wings of the Apocalypse Queen

  • +15 Physical Attack
  • +1000 HP
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • Unique Passive (Demonize) – Reduces the damage that the hero receives by 50% and increases the Physical Lifesteal effect by 30% for 5 seconds when HP drops below 40%. This effect has a cooldown of 50 seconds.

6. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair) – Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

Wry Executioner Item Build

The Wry Executioner Item Build offers the most attack power to Leomord. This build is quite difficult to pull off, but if you successfully manage to complete all of its core items, you’ll certainly be a deadly force to be reckoned with on the battle field.

This build starts off with the Raptor Machete. It’s a fact that Leomord is a really good when it comes to jungling. The Raptor Machete makes his jungling skills even more effective. Hence, he acquires a lot of experience and gold faster—given that he jungles providently. This results in Leomord being able to assemble all of the remaining core items of this build fast.

Once you complete this build, you’ll have unparalleled offensive power. If you jungled effectively, then you should be ahead of your foes in terms of experience and gold. Having said that, most of your enemies should be squishy in contrast to you who has the power to obliterate them. Finish them quickly while you can.

Keep in mind that the Wry Executioner Item Build turns Leomord into a glass cannon, so don’t let your foes catch up to you. Alternatively, if the enemies do manage to catch up to you, then always stay with your allies so that they can cover you while you hit the them with your unbelievable might.

1. Raptor Machete

  • +30 Physical Attack
  • +15 Physical Penetration
  • +30% Damage to Monsters (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Greed) – Gains 30% extra experience when jungling. Also, regains 4% of total HP and 10% of total Mana after killing a jungle monster.
  • Unique Passive (Gorge) – Increases Physical Attack by 4 points every time a jungle monster is killed. This effect can stack up to 15 times. Also, the “Retribution” battle spell becomes applicable to enemy heroes by having the effect of reducing their Movement Speed by 70%, which gradually decays within 3 seconds. Using “Retribution” also deals a small amount of true damage against enemy heroes.

2. Magic Shoes

  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

3. Bloodlust Axe

  • +70 Physical Attack
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +20% Spell Vampirism (Unique)

4. Endless Battle

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25 Mana Regeneration
  • +250 HP
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • +15% Physical Lifesteal
  • Unique Passive (Divine Justice) – Deals extra true damage equal to 85% of Physical Attack with the next basic attack after using a skill. This effect has a cooldown of 1.5 seconds.
  • Unique Passive (Chase Fate) – Increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 10% whenever Divine Justice is triggered.

5. Malefic Roar

  • +60 Physical Attack
  • +40% Physical Penetration (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Armor Buster) – Causes basic attacks to ignore 20% of the defensive armor of turrets.

6. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair) – Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.
