Timeless Dream Item Build

The Timeless Dream Item Build gives emphasis to Lunox’s inability to perceive time, allowing her to convert all of the cooldown reduction she gains into either magic penetration or physical and magical defense.

All of the items present in the Timeless Dream Item Build—except for the Blood Wings—contribute in improving Lunox’s cooldown reduction. Having said that, this build enables her to switch between her brilliance and darkness modes seamlessly, whilst enjoying suitable amounts of advantageous effects from both. This build doesn’t hold back in raising magic power either. With a huge boost in cooldown reduction and magic power, Lunox becomes a terrifying magical force to be reckoned with.

Do note that the final core item in this build is the Blood Wings. It’s an end-game item that provides insane amounts of magic power and HP, ensuring that Lunox becomes even more powerful and quite sturdy both at the same time.

1. Enchanted Talisman

  • +30 Mana Regeneration
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • Unique Passive (Calamity) – Deals extra true damage equal to 120% of the hero’s Magic Power with the next basic attack after using a skill. This unique passive also raises the movement speed of the hero by 10% for a short period of time. This effect can only trigger once every 1.5 seconds.

4. Lightning Truncheon

  • +75 Magic Power
  • +300 Mana
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction

Reality Wrecker Item Build

The Reality Wrecker Item Build destroys all reality by concentrating everything on magic power and magic penetration. With this build in tow, Lunox’s darkness mode evolves to become more potent than ever.

By purchasing the Soul Scroll on the get-go, Lunox receives a significant amount of magic power and magic penetration. Not only is the Soul Scroll inexpensive, if used prudently, Lunox can dominate the early game with little effort.

Following the Soul Scroll is the Arcane Boots. It’s an item that greatly improves magic penetration. If I must say so, this item is pretty much self-explanatory. Next comes the Winter Truncheon. It’s a peculiar item that doesn’t only provide a substantial amount of magic power, but also supplies a bit of bulk and a beneficial effect that can save Lunox in extremely dire situations.

As for the rest of the items—the Calamity Reaper, the Divine Glaive, and the Holy Crystal—they exist to raise Lunox’s magic power to the highest limit. I’ll give a special mention to the Divine Glaive because it’s a core item in this build that works perfectly in improving Lunox’s magic penetration.

Overall, the Reality Wrecker Item Build is a build that’s highly destructive and potent. Amateur players should steer clear from it as much as possible. This is a build that can only be maneuvered perfectly by highly experienced players.

1. Soul Scroll

  • +20 Magic Power
  • +15 Magic Penetration (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Soul Steal) – Gains 5 Soul Stacks after eliminating enemy heroes and 3 Soul Stacks for each assist. Every 15 Soul Stacks automatically convert into 30 points of Magic Power permanently. Magic Power accumulation caps at 120 points. Note that if the hero dies before reaching 15 Soul Stacks, the said hero will lose all the accumulated Soul Stacks.

2. Arcane Boots

  • +15 Magic Penetration
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

3. Winter Truncheon

  • +60 Magic Power
  • +25 Physical Defense
  • +400 HP
  • Unique Active (Frozen) – Renders the hero immune to all damage and debuffs for 2 seconds upon activation. This skill has a cooldown of 100 seconds.

4. Calamity Reaper

  • +70 Magic Power
  • +100 Mana
  • +30 Mana Regeneration
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • Unique Passive (Calamity) – Deals extra true damage equal to 120% of the hero’s Magic Power with the next basic attack after using a skill. This unique passive also raises the movement speed of the hero by 10% for a short period of time. This effect can only trigger once every 1.5 seconds.

5. Divine Glaive

  • +65 Magic Power
  • +40% Magical Penetration (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Spellbreaker) – Increases the Magical Penetration bonus of this item by 30% if the HP of your hero is higher than 70%.

6. Holy Crystal

  • +90 Magic Power
  • +25% Magic Power (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Exterminate) – Increases magical attack damage by 15% after a skill hits a target. The next skill damage cancels this effect. This effect has a duration of 3 seconds and a cooldown of 10 seconds.

Mage of Balance Item Build

As the name suggests, the Mage of Balance Item Build is a well-balanced build that offers an equilibrated mixture of magic power, magic penetration, cooldown reduction, and mana regeneration. I believe it’s a perfect build for players who are just starting to get a hang of playing as Lunox.

As the first core item of this build, the Demon Shoes ascertains that Lunox never runs out of mana for her to use to spam her skills. The next two items—the Clock of Destiny and Lightning Truncheon—have a synergistic effect. The higher the mana Lunox receives, the higher the damage of the unique passive of the Lightning Truncheon. This is all in addition to Lunox’s already high magic power at this point.

The Concentrated Energy helps Lunox recover more HP. This item combined with Lunox’s brilliance mode and skill guarantees that she can last quite long in the battlefield while she deals serious blows to her foes at the same time.

As for the last two items—the Divine Glaive and Blood Wings—they’re the final pieces that’ll complete the potency of the Mage of Balance Build. Regardless of whether Lunox performs well in the early and middle game, once this build is completed, she will be able to deal significant amounts of damage, enough to try to grasp victory.

1. Demon Shoes

2. Clock of Destiny

  • +615 HP
  • +600 Mana
  • Unique Passive (Time) – Increases HP by 30 points and Magic Power by 5 points every 30 seconds. This effect can stack up to 10 times.
  • Unique Passive (Reincarnate) – When Time reaches its fullest stack (10 times), the hero receives an increase of 5% in Magic Power and an addition of 300 Mana.

  • Unique Passive (Spellbreaker) – Increases the Magical Penetration bonus of this item by 30% if the HP of your hero is higher than 70%.

6. Blood Wings

  • +150 Magic Power
  • +500 HP
  • Unique Passive (Nirvana) – Increases HP by 1.5 points for every 1 point of Magic Power.
