Mobile Legends Sun Item Build Guide

Mobile Legends Sun Item Build Guide

Do you like using Sun in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang? If your answer is yes, then this guide is for you!

As the Monkey King, Sun needs to be equipped with the proper items in order for him to demonstrate his godly powers, which can shake both the cores of heaven and earth. Fortunately, this guide provides item build ideas for you to use so you can lead Sun to victory.

Without further ado, here are three item builds that synergize well with Sun’s devastating capabilities. You can follow them perfectly or even tweak them a little bit. Do whatever it takes to be a legend!

Rugged Beast

Let’s face it, Sun isn’t the most durable hero in Mobile Legends. In fact, he’s rather exceptionally squishy. However, he possesses strength in numbers—thanks to his magnificent cloning techniques. Having said that, the aim of the Rugged Beast Item Build is to augment Sun’s and his clones’ sturdiness in order for them to persevere long enough to demonstrate their impressive combined strength!

Naturally, this build starts by improving Sun’s attack power and attack speed with the help of the Demon Hunter Sword, the Swift Boots, and the Corrosion Scythe. These three items are enough to push through a serious pummeling of the enemies, but they all leave him quite defenseless.

This build shines with the successful acquirement of the fourth and fifth items—the Dominance Ice and Athena’s Shield. The Dominance Ice supplies Sun with a huge boost in physical defense, a decent critical damage reduction, and a unique passive that viably slows down the enemies. On the other hand, Athena’s Shield provides Sun with a lot of HP, magical defense, and a shield that greatly aids in sustaining his attack pressure.

To top it all, a Blade of Despair seems pretty reasonable as Sun’s final core item. This item is, after all, provides the greatest amount of attack power. With the amount of attack power, attack speed, and defense that Sun has accumulated so far, the Blade of Despair turns him not only into a rugged beast but into a godlike monster.

1. Demon Hunter Sword

  • +35 Physical Attack
  • +25% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Devour) – Deals bonus physical damage equal to 9% of the current HP of an enemy with each basic attack. The extra damage caps at 60 points against monsters.
  • Unique Passive (Devour) – Grants an extra 4% Physical Lifesteal for 3 seconds with each basic attack. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

2. Swift Boots

Insatiable Ape

The moniker of this build says it all! This Insatiable Ape Item Build transmogrifies Sun into a bloodthirsty beast that knows how to incapacitate enemies and devour their existence.

The Insatiable Ape Item Build has its anchor set on life-stealing and impairing capabilities. It’s effective in sustaining attacks and recovering much-needed HP at the same time. The Endless Battle, Swift Boots, Bloodlust Axe, and Demon Hunter Sword resonates with one another in order to increase Sun’s attack power and attack speed so that he can recover HP as fast as he can. His damaging prowess, on the other hand, increases the longer he stays in battle.

The Thunder Belt and the Corrosion Scythe helps in dealing bonus damage and preventing enemies from making their escape. Moreover, these two items further increase his durability, offense, and speed.

As a whole, the Insatiable Ape Item Build can work both as a semi-offensive build and a supportive build. Of course, it’s always best to fight with your whole team, but if that option isn’t available, then this build can actually stand its own ground with Sun tenaciously fighting till the end.

1. Endless Battle

This unique passive also slows down enemy targets and their surrounding allies for 1.5 seconds on hit. This effect can only trigger once every 1.5 seconds.

6. Corrosion Scythe

  • +50 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • +25% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Corrosion) – Grants a 50% chance of decreasing the Movement Speed of enemies by 40% with each basic attack. This effect only provides a 20% decrease in Movement Speed for long-ranged basic attacks.
  • Unique Passive (Impulse) – Deals damage to enemies with each basic attack and increases Attack Speed by 8% for 3 seconds. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

Feral Monkey

If you’re into going all-out destructive with no care in the world, then the Feral Monkey Item Build might suit you well!

The Feral Monkey Item Build is Sun’s double-edged item set. It’s powerful, yes, but it also renders Sun highly susceptible to burst damage and death. So, it all comes down to who gets the first and final blows.

Since this build has its focus on overwhelming enemies with miraculously high attack power, it’s a no-brainer to craft items that greatly improves skill damage, attack power, critical power, and physical penetration.

The Blade of Heptaseas greatly enhances the damage of Sun’s skills. On the other hand, the Swift Boots and the Demon Hunter Sword improves his attack speed and provides him with a decent amount of attack power.

The last three items—the Berserker’s Fury, the Malefic Roar, and the Blade of Despair—immensely sharpens Sun’s attacks, allowing him to engage enemies and rip them apart before they even get the time to react.

Remember that this build turns Sun into a very squishy hero. It’s good practice to always engage in battles with your allies or try your hand at ganking effectively. You can also try to force enemies into one-on-one battle situations.

With this build, there’s no doubt about Sun’s power. It all just boils down to the proper timing and execution of attacks.

1. Blade of the Heptaseas

  • +75 Physical Attack
  • +300 HP
  • Unique Passive (Steamroll) – Reduces the defense of enemies by 25 points for 3 seconds when hitting them with damaging skills.

2. Swift Boots

  • +15% Attack Speed
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

4. Berserker’s Fury

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25% Critical Chance
  • +40% Critical Damage (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Doom) – Increases the hero’s Physical Attack by 5% for 2 seconds after landing a critical hit.

5. Malefic Roar

  • +60 Physical Attack
  • +40% Physical Penetration (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Armor Buster) – Causes basic attacks to ignore 20% of the defensive armor of turrets.

6. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair) – Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.
