Death Scythe

As the name suggests, the Death Scythe Item Build is the most aggressive and deadliest set he can don from this listing. As to why, the reason for that is—this build provides the highest amount of offensive power and chasing power!

The more Thamuz can pummel his enemies, the better his chances of victory. That’s why we need Swift Boots to increase his attack speed. Next, we fit him with the Endless Battle. This well-rounded item gives him a decent amount of attack power, extra HP, a helpful amount of cooldown reduction, bonus movement speed, and a copious amount of physical lifesteal. Besides those mentioned, this item’s unique passive synergizes well with Thamuz’s quick utilization of his skills. The more skill combos he can deliver, the greater the bonus true damage he can deal.

For the third slot of this build, we have the Golden Staff. It’s an item that does not only boost damage, it also multiplies Thamuz’s lifesteal gain. Succeeding this item is the Thunder Belt. I did mention that this build offers a high amount of chasing power. This is made possible by the Thunder Belt’s unique passive. With this item’s slow-inducing effect in play, Thamuz can chase his enemies more efficiently.

The last two items are the Brute Force Breastplate and the Blade of Despair. These two items are perfect as the final completion items of this build because they complement each other really well. One boosts defense significantly, while the other raises attack power considerably. If this build can’t be considered deadly, then I don’t know what else can be considered as one.

1. Swift Boots

  • +15% Attack Speed
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

2. Endless Battle

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +25 Mana Regeneration
  • +250 HP
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • +15% Physical Lifesteal
  • Unique Passive (Divine Justice) – Deals extra true damage equal to 85% of Physical Attack with the next basic attack after using a skill. This effect has a cooldown of 1.5 seconds.
  • Unique Passive (Chase Fate) – Increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 10% whenever Divine Justice is triggered.

3. Golden Staff

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +30% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Swift) – Converts every 1% Critical Chance into 1% Attack Speed.
  • Unique Passive (Endless Strike) – Adds a stack of Endless Strike for every basic attack that the hero performs. Once the hero accumulates 2 stacks of Endless Strike, the next basic attack triggers its effect 3 times.

4. Thunder Belt

  • +800 HP
  • +30 Mana Regeneration
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • +40 Physical Defense

5. Brute Force Breastplate

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed
  • Unique Passive (Despair) – Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

Eternal Flame

As sustainable as an everlasting hellfire, the Eternal Flame Item Build keeps Thamuz alive on the battle field with its massive provision of defense and protection.

In this build, we craft the Beast Killer first to help Thamuz jungle efficiently, allowing for a significant gain of experience and gold early on. As if that isn’t enough, the Beast Killer also considerably raises Thamuz’s physical and magical defense, which rises even more as he kills up to 15 jungle monsters. We then equip him with Tough Boots to increase his resistance against crowd control skills.

The good thing about this build is it’s not just about being defensive and tanky, it also offers quite an ample amount of attack power with the help of the Endless Battle and the Blade of Despair. After crafting the said items, we can then proceed in finalizing Thamuz’s defensive set-up.

As the last two core items of this build, the Wings of the Apocalypse Queen and the Brute Force Breastplate heightens Thamuz’s survivability significantly. The Wings of the Apocalypse Queen raises his HP and bestows upon him an overwhelming damage reduction and lifesteal effect that triggers in the face of certain danger. On the other hand, the Brute Force Breastplate further augments his defense each time he lands an attack, rendering him even more indestructible the longer he stays engaged with the enemies.

1. Beast Killer

  • +20 Physical Defense
  • +20 Magical Defense
  • +30% Damage to Monsters (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Greed) – Gains 30% extra experience when jungling. Also, regains 4% of total HP and 10% of total Mana after killing a jungle monster.
  • Unique Passive (Gorge) – Increases physical and magical defense by 3 points every time a jungle monster is killed. This effect can stack up to 15 times. Also, the “Retribution” battle spell becomes applicable to enemy heroes by having the effect of reducing their Movement Speed by 70%, which gradually decays within 3 seconds. Using “Retribution” also temporarily grants your hero a shield that’s based on the hero’s total HP.

2. Tough Boots

  • +22 Magical Defense
  • +40 Movement Speed (Unique)
  • Unique Passive (Fortitude) – Reduces time controlled by 25%.

3. Endless Battle

4. Blade of Despair

  • +170 Physical Attack
  • +5% Movement Speed

5. Wings of the Apocalypse Queen

  • +15 Physical Attack
  • +1000 HP
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • Unique Passive (Demonize) – Reduces the damage that the hero receives by 50% and increases the Physical Lifesteal effect by 30% for 5 seconds when HP drops below 40%. This effect has a cooldown of 50 seconds.

6. Brute Force Breastplate

  • +45 Physical Defense
  • Unique Passive (Brute Force) – Increases physical and magical defense by 4% and movement speed by 3% for 4 seconds whenever you land an attack on an enemy. This effect can stack up to 5 times.

Hell Incarnate

Thamuz is a spawn of hell. That’s why the Hell Incarnate Item Build is perfect for him!

The Hell Incarnate Item Build shines most during the early game. Nevertheless, it can hold its own and sustain damage even in the late game.

As the first core item, the Wizard Boots helps Thamuz boost his gold farming by increasing his gold gain for each assist. This, in turn, allows him to craft the rest of items in this build faster, resulting in a strong early game.

The Bloodlust Axe and the Endless Battle not only increases the damage that Thamuz can deliver to his enemies, they also heighten his lifesteal effect significantly, allowing him to easily survive quite long during the early game. Once Thamuz acquires the Golden Staff, the amount of HP he regains with each attack increases even more, rendering him invincible as long as he avoids getting caught in crowd control skills and keeps his ultimate skill active.

The last two items exist only to sustain Thamuz during the late game. If Thamuz doesn’t have a firm grasp of victory yet at this stage of the game, then the Wings of the Apocalypse Queen and the Immortality will help him survive and sustain the damage he deals to support his allies until victory is within arm’s length.

  • Unique Passive (Chase Fate) – Increases the hero’s Movement Speed by 10% whenever Divine Justice is triggered.

4. Golden Staff

  • +65 Physical Attack
  • +30% Attack Speed
  • Unique Passive (Swift) – Converts every 1% Critical Chance into 1% Attack Speed.
  • Unique Passive (Endless Strike) – Adds a stack of Endless Strike for every basic attack that the hero performs. Once the hero accumulates 2 stacks of Endless Strike, the next basic attack triggers its effect 3 times.

5. Wings of the Apocalypse Queen

  • +15 Physical Attack
  • +1000 HP
  • +10% Cooldown Reduction
  • Unique Passive (Demonize) – Reduces the damage that the hero receives by 50% and increases the Physical Lifesteal effect by 30% for 5 seconds when HP drops below 40%. This effect has a cooldown of 50 seconds.

6. Immortality

  • +800 HP
  • +40 Magical Defense
  • Unique Passive (Immortal) – Resurrects the hero 2 seconds after dying and gains 15% HP and a shield that can absorb 300-1000 points of damage for 3 seconds. This effect has a cooldown of 180 seconds.
