Star Trek Trexels Skirmish Ships

Updated on September 27, 2016
USS Gagarin Battle Group I
USS Gagarin Battle Group I | Source

Star Trek Trexels released a new PvP/PvAI mode, added in February, 2016. This new game feature, called Skirmish, allows players of the app to build fleets with iconic Star Trek ships and put them head-to-head with players and an AI (for when players are online).

This page is a simple list of ships that are part of the Trexels skirmish game. Since the feature is new, and since I'm new to it myself, there may be changes, updates, and new information added as the game is fleshed out.

Although I'll offer a few hints, this page is not a play-/walk-through or strategy guide.

Update 2016.07.02: Cut more text.

Update 2016.06.12: Removed a lot of text for a cleaner page.

Quick Hints

  • The badges you earn winning battles are not enough to offset the loss you'll take in repairs.
  • Badges are made in the Tactical Analysis Lab and the Premium Tactical analysis lab, both of which are in the Operations tab, last two rooms.
  • More ships isn't always better. The quality of the cards and officers is more important. Having lower-quality ships with lower-quality cards will dilute your card pulls.
  • Right now, you have a higher chance playing against the game's AI than another player. The AI doesn't use special officer cards.
  • Player battles are tougher than AI battles. Rather than getting your a** handed to you by a superior foe, use the "Forfeit" button. Ship repairs can get expensive.

Selling Ships

You can reduce the number of ships you have by selling them. Selling makes reforming your fleet between battles easier and may reduce some lag. Keep in mind, though, that there may be special events that require you to have a lower-tier fleet.

@Tff Thanks for the call out on the Kretor!

The card slots looked black and white to me on the iPad. I changed the description to gray for clarity.

    • Tff 7 months ago

Hi Pax, small typo in your list: theKrill Ship has 560HP.

Do you remember which ship(s) had or still have the white card slot? Seems like there's only red and grey now...

@Tff Indeed it does. Time to get back to the spreadsheets. Once again, thanks for your help.

    • Tff 7 months ago

It is listed when you click the ship during battle.

@TFF (Or anyone who knows) How can you tell that those ships have passive abilities? It's not listed on the ship info page. Observation?

    • Tff 7 months ago

One more update from me on my way to level 5: All 3 event rewards ( Krenim, Jem'Hadar and Ferengi) have a 20% passive attack ability, Nebula has 10% passive Health.

@Chaos See the new module above, "Selling Ships." The "Sell" button is quite prominent.

Could you post a pic I don't see where your talking about thanks

@Chaos with the last update ships can be sold. You can see a sell button in the ship's screen. Be careful though, because there are special events that may need lower-level ships. As of now cards can't be sold. But they also may be needed for special events.

    • Chaos 7 months ago

Is there anyway to get rid of obsolete cards and ships

@Tff Wow! That there is one awesome spreadsheet. I need to update my card pages, then I'll circle back to that, double-checking my tables. Thanks much!

    • Tff 7 months ago

Pax, I will share my spreadsheet which I built indepently, so you can compare and cross check. It has the latest version's changes and also the two ships from the Cardassian Carnage event. Going from 4 to 5 is incredibly hard. It requires 850 (!) won battles. Not to mention any loss will eat your stats... I believe going from 3 to 4 was like 150.

Thanks, Zatar. It's a really long road. I don't think I'll be trying to get to level VI any time soon after getting to V.

In the meantime, I still need to update the weapon, defense, and officer pages.

    • Zatar 7 months ago

Glad to see more participation in this information exchange. Eager to see specs on tier V ships. Go Tff and Pax hope you guys reach tier V soon.

Just got it myself. I'm about 1/3rd of the way to BGV so I got a long way to go.

    • Tff 8 months ago

Yes indeed. Still working my way through level 4 as well. I already got the Jem'Hadar special for completing the first invasion event. Do you need the specs or do you have it already as well?

@Tff thanks for the heads up. There were a lot of changes with the newest release. I'm going to have to go through and double check all the tables. Also there a new events and some of the officers have Skirmish skills now. I have my work cut out for me.
