Swimsuit Servants in Fate Grand Order

Swimsuit Servants in Fate Grand Order

Archer Illya

Archer Illya

10. Illyasviel von Einzbern (Archer)

Star Rating: 4
Noble Phantasm: Prisma☆Splash Rainbow! (hits all, ignores evasion)

4-star servants like Illya have lower max levels than 5-star (at least until boosted with a holy grail), but also cost less to use in your party. Illya offers a versatile servant with several abilities, with her skills granting invincibility, filling her NP gauge, and restoring health. But she really shines with quick cards, which generate critical stars to score critical hits with future attacks.

Combo this with her skills that improve quick performance and crit damage for massive burst attacks and surprisingly fast NP looping for a non-arts servant.

Saber Medb

Saber Medb

9. Queen Medb (Saber)

Star Rating: 4
Noble Phantasm: One Shot, My Love (damages and reduces defense for one enemy)

Despite being one of the most conceited servants, Medb's a surprisingly generous support unit thanks to a skill that boost your party's attack and your other allies' critical damage. Meanwhile, another skill gradually refills Medb's NP gauge and grants crit starts, and her last can charm (immobilize) all foes.

In other words, have Medb hang back while boosting other units and prepping her NP, charm foes when needed, then swoop in with her single-target NP to take down big threats.

Nero Claudius (Caster)

Nero Claudius (Caster)

8. Nero Claudius (Caster)

Star Rating: 5
Noble Phantasm: Laudatum Domus Illustris (damages all enemies, ignores invincibility)

Unlike Medb, Nero focuses her skills on empowering just herself; thankfully, they're great boosts. Her first simply charges a good chunk of her NP gauge, her next boosts attack and defense while negating her class disadvantage, and her last increases attack and grants guts, reviving from a single death.

So despite being a damage-oriented buster servant, she charges NP rather quickly and can tank hits thanks to her various defensive boosts, making her a strong choice for farming (beating waves of enemies quickly to attain daily resources).

Rider Ishtar

Rider Ishtar

7. Ishtar (Rider)

Star Rating: 4
Noble Phantasm: An Gal Ta Seven Colors (damages all enemies, increases quick effectiveness)

Ishtar's an interesting support unit with excellent survivability. Her first skill boosts your team's buster and quick plus NP-generation, her second lets her evade one attack (even on a future turn), and her last grants several upgrades for one turn but stuns her during the next.

So use her to empower your team and rush in for massive damage with her last skill, but time it on a turn where you know you can attack with other servants on your next. Better yet, give her command cards that grant debuff immunity to prevent the self-stunning.

Saber Frankenstein

Saber Frankenstein

6. Frankenstein (Saber)

Star Rating: 4
Noble Phantasm: Skewered Plasma Blade (damages one enemy, may stun others)

At first, Frankie's saber form looks unappealing because her skills have various debuffs attached (inflicting damage or reducing her NP). But in exchange, they offer incredible boss-killing burst potential, letting her drastically increase her attack, NP gain and damage while removing a foe's buffs and reducing their attack.

In short, Frankie's terrible for farming but great at boss fights; thankfully, the game lets you save multiple party configurations to easily switch between them.

Assassin Ushi

Assassin Ushi

5. Ushiwakamaru (Assassin)

Star Rating: 4
Noble Phantasm: Tengu no Hauchiwa - Akarashimakaze (damages and removes offensive buffs from enemies)

Assassins like Ushi already have passives that increase their crit-star generation, and she's especially amazing at it thanks to her abilities. These fill her NP gauge, increase quick performance and grant evasion, and give her debuff immunity plus a chance to remove enemy buffs when damaging them.

Plus, since three of her five attack cards plus her NP are quick, it's ridiculously easy to create quick chains that grant tons of stars for more critical hits.

Berserker J'Alter

Berserker J'Alter

4. Jeanne d'Arc (Berserker Alter)

Star Rating: 4
Noble Phantasm: Völkermord Feuerdrache (damages and burns one enemy)

Berserkers like J'alter deal extra damage to almost all enemy types, but also take more from them. Luckily, her first skill largely negates her defensive vulnerability by granting her one free evade (plus some HP regen) for several turns.

Her next skills increase her attack and NP gauge, which, coupled with her class and buster focus, lets her dish out amazing amounts of damage. As a self-reliant servant with single-target focus, she's great for boss battles and as the last unit in your party.

Arch-toria

Arch-toria

3. Artoria Pendragon (Archer)

Star Rating: 5
Noble Phantasm: Excalibur Vivian (damages and reduces one enemy's NP gauge)

Artoria's an arts-focused servant with some team support thrown in, able to boost her own arts effectiveness plus the attack/defense of your party. She builds NP quickly, and one of her skills lets her spend some to recover HP (5000 at max skill level)!

A bit of a jack-of-all trades, Artoria's a great choice for any situation, and with some boosts from teammates, can potentially NP "loop", refilling her NP gauge enough to chain it from turn to turn.

Rider Mordred

Rider Mordred

2. Mordred (Rider)

Star Rating: 5
Noble Phantasm: Prydwen Tube Riding (damages and may reduce NP for enemies)

Mordred's a boss-killing arts servant through and through, letting her quickly amass and loop her NP. Her skills increase her arts performance, grant evasion and crit generation, and charge her NP while providing guts.

Between guts and evasion, she's pretty tanky, and her ability to reduce boss NP helps prolong their ultimate attacks long enough for your skills to recharge.

Moon Cancer Kiara

Moon Cancer Kiara

1. Sesshōin Kiara (Moon Cancer)

Star Rating: 5
Noble Phantasm: Nirmānnarati - Heaven's Foam (damages all enemies, extra damage towards foes with mental debuff)

Kiara's just kind of broken; all of her skills have multiple beneficial traits. Just her first grants guts, increases HP regen, NP damage, and increases the power of her other skills. Her next charges NP and gains crit stars, and her final grants your party evasion for one attack, removes ignore evasion buffs on the enemy, and reduces their defense and art resistance.

While not quite as proficient at looping as some arts servants, Kiara's numerous power easily make her one of the best servants period, not just among the swimsuit units.

Obtaining Summer Servants in "Fate/Grand Order"

Most swimsuit-clad servant alternatives are only available during special events during summer, and can't be summoned normally, so be sure to grab 'em while available.

If you missed a favorite, keep an eye out in future summer specials and save some saint quartz for the occasion to increase your odds of scoring them, but for now, vote for your favorite ally and I'll see you at our next gaming review!
