What Is Territe?

Territe is one of the many currencies available in the game. Its primary purpose is to pay for certain weapon and familiar upgrades.

This means Territe will eventually be needed for increasing your Combat Power (CP)—whether directly or by working on your collection. Territe is also one of the in-game currencies that can be converted to a cryptocurrency.

Here are a few examples of Territe usage. This is not a comprehensive list.

Examples of Territe Usage

Weapon, armor, and accessories upgrade to a higher amount of stars require Territe.

Enhancing a familiar to a higher amount of stars also requires Territe.

Can You Buy Territe From the Cash Shop?

No, you cannot. However, you can buy more Familiar Adventure tokens and mine resets for 100 Diamonds each. This creates an indirect path to buying Territe from a cash shop currency.

How to Farm Territe

Here are some methods on how to farm Territe.

Dailies

You can earn 50 Territe every day by reaching 60 daily points.

Familiar Adventure

Once you reach Familiar Adventure Level 5, you may start seeing some Territe mines. You can make use of the free daily reset to try to get more of them. These don't give a whole lot, but as you reach higher Familiar Adventure Levels, you will see higher level mines. For example, a Grade 1 Territe mine will reward 10 Territe, while Grade 2 awards 16.

Chaos Field

Defeating monsters in the Chaos Field can reward Territe. However, you might notice that the rate is quite low. You can increase the drop rate of Territe by:

  • Defeating monsters in higher level floors in the Chaos Field. When Territe does drop, it's in higher quantities.
  • Having more Territe Energy. This is explained further below.

Generally speaking, it is not worth trying to farm Territe in the Chaos Field if you are on the lowest floor, as you may find yourself auto-battling for several hours with barely any Territe drops.

Questing (and Alts!)

The main story questline sometimes gives Territe, including very early on. This is a great reason to work on those alt classes every once in a while! It's a good idea to level up your alts to 20 to receive the inventory expansion from the first Class Grade anyway, so why not earn the 40 Territe that are given from the main story quests on the way to level 20 at the same time! For info on leveling up multiple characters, check out this guide.

How to Get More Territe Energy

Territe Energy determines two things:

  1. How much Territe you can farm by killing monsters. Whenever Territe drops from monsters in the Chaos Field, your Territe Energy will drop by 1.
  2. How good your Territe drop rate will be. The more Territe Energy you have, the greater your drop rate will be.

The drop increase is done in tiered brackets based on how much you have versus the total amount. You can see if your Territe's drop rate is the highest it can be, which is "Great", by clicking on the Territe Energy icon.

Tapping, or clicking, on the Territe Energy icon will show the drop rate, daily given, max amount, and daily timer.

Tapping, or clicking, on the Territe Energy icon will show the drop rate, daily given, max amount, and daily timer.

This means that Territe Energy of 2100 does not necessarily give a better rate than at 1900 for a character whose Max Amount is 2100 as both of those are still in the "Great" bracket. Likewise, for a character whose Territe Energy is 1400 out of a Max Amount of 1400, it would also still be "Great".

Still, it does mean that having high Territe Energy is a good thing. You will receive Territe Energy every day at 15:00 UTC - 5. You can see the time adjusted in your local time zone by clicking and holding the Territe Energy indicator in your menu.

To receive more Territe Energy daily and to increase your maximum amount, you will need to reach a higher Class Grade.

"I'm having a hard time farming territe. The drop rate isn't very good"

As just mentioned above, having "Great" is the best rate regardless of the actual amount of Territe Energy. So if you can't improve the actual drop rate further, you need to look into improving how quickly you can kill monsters. The faster they die, the more chances you have to get Territe!

Do You Get More Territe Energy if You Level Other Classes?

No. It will use the Territe Energy of your highest level class. Although some people believe that raising other classes to level 40 increases the drop rate somehow, there is no logical reason to think so since the Territe Energy Max Amount does not increase.

Converting to a Cryptocurrency

Territe is one of two currencies in the game that can be converted to a cryptocurrency. This is entirely optional; you do not need to trade in cryptocurrencies if you do not wish to.

  • Make a Marblex Wallet account (requires the Marblex Wallet mobile app).
  • Use the PC version of Ni No Kuni: Cross Worlds to access the Token Exchange menu.
  • Click to Link Marblex Wallet and follow the on-screen directions in your browser.
  • Once linked, you should be able to see the current Exchange rate from the in-game currency to the NKT token and back.
  • The NKT token can be exchanged on the Marblex Wallet app into the Marblex cryptocurrency.
The Token Exchange subsection of the Shop section is only available on the PC version of the game at the moment.

Once converted to the Marblex cryptocurrency, you can theoretically use it to exchange it on markets that accept it.

Since the exchange is also possible in reverse, it does mean that it is possible to buy cryptocurrency with real money to then trade into Territe. This is a more predictable outcome than the indirect path of using the cash shop's Diamonds to gain Territe via the Familiar Adventure.
