In Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, there’s a grand total of 60 Technical Machines (TMs). In order for you to bring out the best in your Pokémon during battles, it is essential that you teach them all sorts of moves. That’s the reason why you have to collect all the TMs that exist in the games.

Don’t worry, I won’t leave you hanging. You don’t have to search every nook and cranny of the Kanto region just to collect all 60 TMs. This guide is here to solve your dilemma!

From TM01 to TM60, this guide pinpoints all of their locations. Having said that, it is now time for you to begin the hunt to collect all 60 TMs and become the best Pokémon trainer in the world!

Technical Machine (TM) Locations

  • TM01 (Headbutt) – Challenge and defeat gym leader Brock in the Pewter Gym in Pewter City. Once you obtain the Boulder Badge, Brock will give you TM01 as an additional reward.
  • TM02 (Taunt) – Go to the Cinnabar Lab beside the Pokémon Center on Cinnabar Island and head to the 2nd room along the hallway. Talk to the scientist near the center of the room and he’ll give you TM02.
  • TM03 (Helping Hand) – Go to the 3rd floor (Video Game Shop) of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City. Talk to the clerk and he will give you TM03.
  • TM04 (Teleport) – Go to the Pokémon Tower in Lavender City. Head to the 4th floor and make your way east. You’ll find TM04 surrounded by tombstones near the staircase going to the 5th floor.
  • TM05 (Rest) – Go to the Team Rocket hideout inside the Rocket Game Corner in Celadon City. Head to the 2nd basement floor and make your way to the arrow puzzle area. You’ll find TM05 near the center of the arrow puzzle area.
  • TM06 (Light Screen) – Go to the rooftop area of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City. Once you’re there, talk to the little girl standing near the vending machines. Give her some fresh water and she will give you TM06 as a gift.
  • TM07 (Protect) – Go to the rooftop area of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City. Once you’re there, talk to the little girl standing near the vending machines. Give her a lemonade and she will give you TM07 as a gift.
  • TM08 (Substitute) – Receive it from the Copycat girl on the 2nd floor of her house in Saffron City. Be sure that you have a Clefairy in your party to show the Copycat girl or else she won’t give you the TM. Note that the Copycat girl’s house is situated on the northwest quadrant of Saffron City.
  • TM09 (Reflect) – Go to the rooftop area of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City. Once you’re there, talk to the little girl standing near the vending machines. Give her a soda pop and she will give you TM09 as a gift.
  • TM10 (Dig) – Retrieve it from the Team Rocket grunt after you defeat him in Cerulean City. He’s located right beside the house he looted.
  • TM11 (Will-O-Wisp) – Go to Viridian City and head west. Once you’re near the entrance to Route 22, you’ll see a small tree leading to an enclosed area. Use the Chop Down secret technique to cut the tree and proceed to the enclosed area. Talk to the man standing there and he will give you TM11.
  • TM12 (Facade) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Alpesh on Route 7. He’s standing on the path near the entrance/exit to the east of Celadon City.
  • TM13 (Brick Break) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat Coach Trainer Tasha on Route 10. She’s standing near the entrance of Rock Tunnel.
  • TM14 (Fly) – Go to the northwest corner of Route 16 and enter the house. Talk to the woman and she’ll give you TM14.
  • TM15 (Seismic Toss) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Amala on Route 25. She is standing near Bill’s House.
  • TM16 (Thunder Wave) – Go to Route 25 and head east. Use the Chop Down secret tree to cut the tree near the picnicker. You’ll find TM16 behind the tree.
  • TM17 (Dragon Tail) – Purchase it for ₽20,000 from the Technical Machine shop on the 2nd floor of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City.
  • TM18 (U-Turn) – Purchase it for ₽20,000 from the Technical Machine shop on the 2nd floor of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City.
  • TM19 (Iron Tail) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the Technical Machine shop on the 2nd floor of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City.
  • TM20 (Dark Pulse) – Go to the Team Rocket hideout inside the Rocket Game Corner in Celadon City. Head to the 3rd basement floor and move down until you see a female Team Rocket grunt. You’ll find TM20 near the Poké Ball machine.
  • TM21 (Foul Play) – Go to the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island and head to the 3rd floor. You’ll find TM21 beneath the window on the northeast side of the said floor.
  • TM22 (Rock Slide) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Rita on the 2nd floor of the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island. She’s on the northwest side of the said floor.
  • TM23 (Thunder Punch) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Leona in the Saffron Dojo in Saffron City.
  • TM24 (X-Scissor) – Go to Route 12 and make your way to the wooden bridges. Once you see a small island south of a fisherman, use the Sea Skim secret technique to reach the TM on the said island.
  • TM25 (Waterfall) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Technical Machine shop on the 2nd floor of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City.
  • TM26 (Poison Jab) – Talk to the old man near the center of Celadon City and he will give you TM26. He’s standing outside his house across the pond he built in front of his house. Note that you will need to use the Sea Skim secret technique in order to reach him.
  • TM27 (Toxic) – Challenge and defeat gym leader Koga in the Fuchsia Gym in Fuchsia City. Once you obtain the Soul Badge, Koga will give you TM27 as an additional reward.
  • TM28 (Tri Attack) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Technical Machine shop on the 2nd floor of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City.
  • TM29 (Scald) – Challenge and defeat gym leader Misty in the Cerulean Gym in Cerulean City. Once you obtain the Cascade Badge, Misty will give you TM29 as an additional reward.
  • TM30 (Bulk-Up) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Technical Machine shop on the 2nd floor of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City.

  • TM31 (Fire Punch) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Midge on Route 15. She’s on the path behind the ledge leading to Fuchsia City. Be sure to use the Chop Down secret technique to cut the tree blocking the path.
  • TM32 (Dazzling Gleam) – Go to the house on Route 12 and talk to the old man. Tell him that his name is Mr. Dazzling and he’ll give you TM32.
  • TM33 (Calm Mind) – Challenge and defeat gym leader Sabrina in the Saffron Gym in Saffron City. Once you obtain the Marsh Badge, Sabrina will give you TM33 as an additional reward.
  • TM34 (Dragon Pulse) – Go to the Silph Co. building In Saffron City and use the elevator to reach the 7th floor. From the elevator, head east until you see a room with a table. You will find TM34 beneath the said table. Note that you will need a card key to access the aforementioned room.
  • TM35 (Ice Punch) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Pam on Route 21. She’s standing near a fisherman on a small island. Use the Sea Skim secret technique to reach her.
  • TM36 (Thunder Bolt) – Challenge and defeat gym leader Lt. Surge in the Vermilion Gym in Vermilion City. Once you obtain the Thunder Badge, Lt. Surge will give you TM36 as an additional reward.
  • TM37 (Flamethrower) – Go to the Silph Co. building in Saffron City and use the elevator to reach the 10th floor. From the elevator, head straight down to the lowermost room. You will find TM37 on the left side of the big orange box.
  • TM38 (Thunder) – Go to the Power Plant on Route 10 and head to the southeast area of the building. You’ll find TM38 near the sacks and barrels. Note that you’ll need the Sea Skim secret technique to access the Power Plant.
  • TM39 (Outrage) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Ryan at the Victory Road. He’s standing near a torch on the southeast quadrant of the 3rdlevel.
  • TM40 (Psychic) – Go to Mr. Psychic’s House in Saffron City and approach him. After you try talking to him, he will give you TM40. Note that Mr. Psychic’s House is located in the southeast quadrant of Saffron City. It’s along the same path as the Pokémon Center.
  • TM41 (Earthquake) – Challenge and defeat gym leader Giovanni in the Viridian Gym in Viridian City. Once you obtain the Earth Badge, Giovanni will give you TM41 as an additional reward.
  • TM42 (Self-Destruct) – Go to the Silph Co. building in Saffron City and use the elevator/stairs to reach the 2nd floor. From the elevator/stairs, head to the room situated on the northwest side of the floor. Talk to the woman standing near the corner of the room and she’ll give you TM42. Note that you will need a card key to access the aforementioned room.
  • TM43 (Shadow Ball) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Technical Machine shop on the 2nd floor of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City.
  • TM44 (Play Rough) – Enter the Celadon Condominiums through the backdoor. Use the stairs to go to the classroom on the rooftop. You will find TM44 beside the bookshelf.
  • TM45 (Solar Beam) – Go to the 2nd level of the Victory Road. Move towards the center of the level until you see a black belt and a juggler. You’ll find TM45 near a stone switch south of the black belt.
  • TM46 (Fire Blast) – Challenge and defeat gym leader Blaine in the Cinnabar Gym on Cinnabar Island. Once you obtain the Volcano Badge, Blaine will give you TM46 as an additional reward.
  • TM47 (Surf) – Go to the path behind the ledge leading to Fuchsia City on Route 15. You will find TM47 at the west end of the path. Be sure to use the Chop Down secret technique to cut the tree blocking the said path.
  • TM48 (Hyper Beam) – Purchase it for ₽100,000 from the Technical Machine shop on the 2nd floor of the Celadon Department Store in Celadon City.
  • TM49 (Superpower) – Go to the 2nd level of the Victory Road. Head to the northeast quadrant of the level. You will find TM49 near the juggler at the end of the path.
  • TM50 (Roost) – Go to the 2nd floor of the gatehouse on Route 12. Talk to the girl standing on the corner of the room and she will give you TM50.
  • TM51 (Blizzard) – Go the 3rdlevel of the Victory Road. Head to the northwest quadrant of the level. You will find TM51 south of officer Jenny near the end of the path.
  • TM52 (Sludge Bomb) – Go to the Pokémon Mansion on Cinnabar Island and head to the basement floor. You will find TM52 near the center of the floor beside the table with the diary about Mewtwo.
  • TM53 (Mega Drain) – Challenge and defeat gym leader Erika in the Celadon Gym in Celadon City. Once you obtain the Rainbow Badge, Erika will give you TM53 as an additional reward.
  • TM54 (Flash Cannon) – Go to the Silph Co. building in Saffron City and use the elevator to reach the 5th floor. Head to the room on the southwest side of the floor. You will find the TM near the shelves and lockers. Note that you will need a card key to access the aforementioned room.
  • TM55 (Ice Beam) – Go to the Seafoam Islands. Pass through the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd basement levels until you’re back on the 1st basement level. You will find TM55 on the southeast quadrant of the said level.
  • TM56 (Stealth Rock) – Go to the 1st level of the Victory Road. Head to the northeast quadrant of the level. You will find TM56 near a boulder and some rocks. Be sure to use the Strong Push secret technique to push the boulder blocking the path all the way to the west.
  • TM57 (Pay Day) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Oberon on Route 3. He’s standing near the ledges directly south from the Pokémon Center.
  • TM58 (Drill Run) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Grantley on Route 17. He’s standing south of the lake near the center of the area.
  • TM59 (Dream Eater) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Priya on Route 12. She’s on standing on the wooden bridges south of Mr. Dazzling’s house.
  • TM60 (Mega Horn) – Claim it as a reward after you defeat coach trainer Harjit in Cerulean City. He’s standing near the entrance of the Cerulean Cave. Note that you will need to use the Sea Skim secret technique to swim along the river from the west side of Route 24 to Cerulean City in order to reach coach trainer Harjit.

Excellent article! I'll be bookmarking this for when I get Let's Go Pikachu. I'm hoping to finally buy a Nintendo Switch when I've finished the novel I'm writing, sort of like a reward. If I bought it first, there's no way I'd finish the book.
