If you’re serious about wanting to become a Pokémon master, then you will be needing all of the information involving battle moves and strategies. A good way to start is by collecting all of the Technical Machines (TMs) in the game.

In Pokémon Sword and Shield, there are 100 TMs that are scattered across the Galar region. Lucky for you, this guide lists all of them! From TM00 to TM99, all of their location details can be found here. All that’s left is for you to actually collect them all and use them to become the best Pokémon trainer the world has ever seen.

Technical Machine (TM) Locations

  • TM00 (Mega Punch) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (East Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM01 (Mega Kick) – Purchase it for ₽40,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (East Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM02 (Pay Day) – Go to Motostoke and head to the entrance of Budew Drop Inn. From there, take a few steps west and head straight south until you see a flight of stairs. Go down the stairs and you’ll find a small area where TM02 can be found.
  • TM03 (Fire Punch) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM04 (Ice Punch) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM05 (Thunder Punch) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM06 (Fly) – Go to the entrance of the Pokémon Center in Stow-on-Side and head west. Enter the house nearest the foot of the staircase leading to Stow-on-Side Stadium. Talk to the Corviknight taxi operator inside the house and he’ll give you TM06.
  • TM07 (Pin Missile) – Go to Route 4 and head to the entrance of Turffield. Follow the path towards the grassy enclosure overlooking the Pokémon Center. Continue your way east until you spot a boy wearing a Pikachu costume. You’ll find TM07 right behind him.
  • TM08 (Hyper Beam) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM09 (Giga Impact) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM10 (Magical Leaf) – Obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Milo at the Turffield Stadium in Turffield.
  • TM11 (Solar Beam) – Go to Turffield and head northwest. Once you’re at the bridge, use your upgraded Rotom Bike to travel north through the river. You’ll eventually come upon a patch of land where you’ll find TM11.
  • TM12 (Solar Blade) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM13 (Fire Spin) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM14 (Thunder Wave) – Complete your first Rotom Rally in the Wild Area and receive TM14 as a reward.
  • TM15 (Dig) – Go to Route 6 and head to the area where Cara Liss, the Pokémon Restoration Machine, and a Pokémon Camp are situated. You’ll find TM15 just across the Pokémon Camp.
  • TM16 (Screech) – Go to Circhester and head to the east branch of Hotel Ionia. Take the elevator going to the upper floor and enter the first room to the right. Talk to the hiker and he’ll give you TM16.
  • TM17 (Light Screen) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM18 (Reflect) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Motostoke.
  • TM19 (Safeguard) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Motostoke.
  • TM20 (Self-Destruct) – Purchase it for ₽100,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM21 (Rest) – Go to Ballonlea and head to the path behind the Pokémon Center. You’ll find TM21 in front of the gigantic, green, glowing mushrooms at the end of the path going east.
  • TM22 (Rock Slide) – Go to Route 9 (Circhester Bay) and use your upgraded Rotom Bike to travel northwest through the bay from the Pokémon Camp. Once you reach the narrow water channel, head west until you see a small patch of land where you’ll find TM22.
  • TM23 (Thief) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poke Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM24 (Snore) – Go to Glimwood Tangle and head to the area leading up to Ballonlea. Before you run across the double battle trainers along the way, head west and you’ll find TM24 at the end of the path.
  • TM25 (Protect) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poke Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Motostoke.
  • TM26 (Scary Face) – Go to Galar Mine and follow the tracks until you come upon the wooden bridge. Along the way, you’ll see a female worker. Head west from where the female worker is and you’ll find TM26 at the end of the path.
  • TM27 (Icy Wind) – In Pokémon Sword, go to the house directly behind the Pokémon Center in Circhester and talk to the man inside to receive TM27. In Pokémon Shield, obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Melony at the Circhester Stadium in Circhester.
  • TM28 (Giga Drain) – Purchase it for ₽100,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM29 (Charm) – Go to Hammerlocke and head straight to the Vault. Once you’re at the stairs leading to the entrance of the Vault, continue east and you’ll find TM29.
  • TM30 (Steel Wing) – Go to Route 6 and head to the area where the Diglett statues are. Before you reach the narrow pathway leading to the Diglett statues, move south, climb down the stairs, and jump through two ledges. You’ll find TM30 at the end of the path.
  • TM31 (Attract) – Go to the Pokémon Daycare Center on Route 5 and head south. You’ll find TM31 next to a rock in the southeast corner of the grassy area.
  • TM32 (Sandstorm) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM33 (Rain Dance) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.

  • TM34 (Sunny Day) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM35 (Hail) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM36 (Whirlpool) – Obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Nessa at the Hulbury Stadium in Hulbury.
  • TM37 (Beat Up) – Go to the Pokémon Camp and Route 3 and head east. Continue towards the path until you see a schoolgirl and a berry tree. You’ll find TM37 at the end of the path.
  • TM38 (Will-O-Wisp) – Obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Kabu at the Motostoke Stadium in Motostoke.
  • TM39 (Facade) – Go to Motostoke Riverbank in the Wild Area by passing through the bridge from North Lake Miloch. Head west and stick to the walls of Motostoke until you turn a corner where you’ll find TM39 across a berry tree and near some pipes.
  • TM40 (Swift) – Receive it from Hop once you leave Wedgehurst for the first time.
  • TM41 (Helping Hand) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poke Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Motostoke.
  • TM42 (Revenge) – In Pokémon Sword, obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Bea at the Stow-on-Side Stadium in Stow-on-Side. In Pokémon Shield, go to the house next to the pathway leading to the Ballonlea Stadium and talk to old woman inside to receive TM42.
  • TM43 (Brick Break) – Go to Route 8 and head to the entrance of the tunnel going to Steamdrift Way. Before you enter the tunnel, head west and follow the walls of the ruins. You’ll find TM43 at the end of the path.
  • TM44 (Imprison) – Purchase it for ₽100,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM45 (Dive) – Go to Route 9 (Circhester Bay) and use your upgraded Rotom Bike to travel west through the bay from the Pokémon Camp. You’ll eventually reach a patch of land where you’ll find two swimmers. Talk to the female swimmer and she will give you TM45.
  • TM46 (Weather Ball) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poke Mart inside the Pokémon Center (East Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM47 (Fake Tears) – Go to Circhester and head to the east branch of Hotel Ionia. Take the elevator going to the upper floor and enter the second room to the right. Talk to the man next to the plant and he’ll give you TM47.
  • TM48 (Rock Tomb) – In Pokémon Sword, obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Gordie at the Circhester Stadium in Circhester. In Pokémon Shield, go to the house directly behind the Pokémon Center in Circhester and talk to the man inside to receive TM48.
  • TM49 (Sand Tomb) – Go to Galar Mine No. 2 and continue along the path until you come upon an intersection and a rail staff. Head east and you’ll find TM49 at the end of the path.
  • TM50 (Bullet Seed) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM51 (Icicle Spear) – Go to the ancient Hero’s Bath in Circhester and head to the east side. You’ll find TM51 between two of the pillars.
  • TM52 (Bounce) – Purchase it for ₽100,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM53 (Mud Shot) – Go to Galar Mine No. 2 and make your way past the first two ponds. Head east and use your upgraded Rotom Bike to travel through another two ponds until you reach a patch of land where you’ll find TM53.
  • TM54 (Rock Blast) – Go to Galar Mine and follow the path going west and then south. Head outside and you’ll find TM54 near the edge of the cliff.
  • TM55 (Brine) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poke Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM56 (U-Turn) – Go to Glimwood Tangle and head to the area leading up to Ballonlea. Make your way to the west of the area until you spot an old lady. Continue west and then north, and follow the path until you reach TM56, which is next to a green, glowing mushroom.
  • TM57 (Payback) – Go to Professor Magnolia’s house on Route 2 and make your way around the house. You’ll find TM57 behind the house.
  • TM58 (Assurance) – Go to the Pokémon Camp on Route 7 and move towards the bridge. Investigate behind the bridge walls and you’ll find TM58.
  • TM59 (Fling) – Purchase it for ₽100,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM60 (Power Swap) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM61 (Guard Swap) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM62 (Speed Swap) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM63 (Drain Punch) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center near Wyndon Stadium in Wyndon.
  • TM64 (Avalanche) – Go to Route 9 and get past the bridge from Circhester. Once you’re at the end of the bridge, head west and use your upgraded Rotom Bike to travel through the river. Follow the river until you reach a patch of land where you’ll find TM64.
  • TM65 (Shadow Claw) – Go to the Lake of Outrage and use your upgraded Rotom Bike to travel north through the lake until you reach a patch of land. You’ll find TM65 past a Pokémon den and behind a berry tree.

  • TM66 (Thunder Fang) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (East Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM67 (Ice Fang) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (East Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM68 (Fire Fang) – Purchase it for ₽30,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (East Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM69 (Psycho Cut) – Go to Professor Magnolia’s house on Route 2 and use your upgraded Rotom Bike to travel northwest on the lake. Once you reach the farthest northwest quadrant of the lake, follow the pathway until you reach TM69 at the end of the path.
  • TM70 (Trick Room) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM71 (Wonder Room) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM72 (Magic Room) – Purchase it for ₽50,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM73 (Cross Poison) – Go to Dusty Bowl in the Wild Area and head north. Use your upgraded Rotom Bike to cross through the small lake until you reach a patch of land where you’ll find TM73.
  • TM74 (Venoshock) - Go to the entrance of the Pokémon Center in Stow-on-Side and head west. Get behind the houses and climb the ladder going to the roofs. Follow the path on the roofs until you reach TM74.
  • TM75 (Low Sweep) – Go to Bridge Field in the Wild Area and head east until you find a river. Use your upgraded Rotom Bike to cross the river until you reach a small patch of land where you’ll find TM75.
  • TM76 (Round) – Purchase it for ₽10,000 from the Poke Mart inside the Pokémon Center (West Side) in Motostoke.
  • TM77 (Hex) – In Pokémon Sword, go to the house next to the pathway leading to the Ballonlea Stadium and talk to old woman inside to receive TM77. In Pokémon Shield, obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Allister at the Stow-on-Side Stadium in Stow-on-Side.
  • TM78 (Acrobatics) – Go to the boutique in Hammerlocke and purchase a Fire Type Tracksuit Jacket, a Fire Type Trackie Bottoms, a Fire Type Sport Rucksack, a Fire Type Sport Cap, and a Fire Type Sport Sunglasses. Put them all on, including the Fire Gym Outfit, and head to Ballonlea. Go west of the Pokémon Center until you reach the artist standing next to a house. Talk to him and he will give you TM78.
  • TM79 (Retaliate) – Receive it from Sonia in Hulbury after the meeting with Rose in the seafood restaurant.
  • TM80 (Volt Switch) – Go to the Wild Area and do a Rotom Rally. You’ll receive TM80 as a reward once you score at least 20,000 points in the Rotom Rally.
  • TM81 (Bulldoze) – Go to Giant’s Seat in the Wild Area and make your way around the gigantic rock formation. Once you’re behind the gigantic rock formation, walk beside the walls of the Wild Area until you find TM81.
  • TM82 (Electroweb) – Go behind the lighthouse in Hulbury where you’ll find TM82.
  • TM83 (Razor Shell) – Purchase it for ₽100,000 from the League Staff inside the Battle Tower in Wyndon.
  • TM84 (Tail Slap) – Go to Rolling Fields in the Wild Area and head to farthest southwest corner. You’ll find TM84 hidden inside a hollow log next to a Pokémon den and a tree.
  • TM85 (Snarl) – Obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Piers in Spikemuth.
  • TM86 (Phantom Force) – Go to Slumbering Weald and head to the deeper northeast area. Once you see a log bridge, cross it and continue along the path until you find TM93.
  • TM87 (Draining Kiss) – Obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Opal at the Ballonlea Stadium in Ballonlea.
  • TM88 (Grassy Terrain) – Purchase it for ₽20,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (East Side) in Hammerlocke.
  • TM89 (Misty Terrain) – Purchase it for ₽20,000 from the Poké Mart inside the Pokémon Center (East Side) in Hammerlocke.

  • TM95 (Air Slash) – Go to Axew’s Eye in the Wild Area by using your upgraded Rotom Bike to travel through the river surrounding it. You’ll find TM95 across the tree on the islet.
  • TM96 (Smart Strike) – Go to Route 8 and make your way to the center of the ruins. Climb your way up to several ladders until you reach a narrow elevated spot where you’ll find TM96.
  • TM97 (Brutal Swing) – Go to Turffield and head to east. Take the path leading to Turffield Stadium and you’ll find TM97 sitting near the fences on the east side of the stadium.
  • TM98 (Stomping Tantrum) – Go to Route 10 and head to the pathway leading to the entrance of Wyndon. Before you reach Wyndon, you’ll see a small path going east. Continue down the said path and you’ll find TM98 sitting next to a rock.
  • TM99 (Breaking Swipe) – Obtain it by challenging and defeating Gym Leader Raihan at the Hammerlocke Stadium in Hammerlocke.
