The Maulborn have headed elsewhere, but their terrible Llodos Plague continues to ravage Deshaan. The plague has made its way to the humble Muth Gnaar monastery, quickly reducing most of the population into horrifying, virtually undead husks of their former selves. This seems bad enough on its own - yet there's also a band of Ashlanders causing trouble in the region. Yikes. You'll be working overtime here.

Honor Bound

Location: Muth Gnaar, Mournhold

NPC: Acolyte Krem

Level: 17

Reward: Ashlander's Honor, 173 gold

  • You'll find the NPC for this quest, Acolyte Krem, kneeling by a pair of bodies across the bridge leading into Muth Gnaar. You'll find the entrance to the monastery along the main road west to southwest of the Mournhold Wayshrine.
  • As you might expect, Acolyte Krem isn't doing so well. Raiders are attacking the monastery, and he begs for your held. Agree and he'll send you off to Healer Senar to provide help.
  • Make your way along the main road (or leap down onto the monastery grounds and fight through groups of Plague Husks) on the way west. You'll find Senar with a group of survivors. Speak to him and he'll beg you to find their leader, Dolril Belvayn, who remained behind to fight off the intruders.

  • Head back east and onto the monastery grounds. You'll find Dolril in the first building on your right as you enter. He'll ask you to save commoners and monks alike who have been afflicted with the Llodos Plague.
  • Continue into the monastery and look in the next two house on your right. There are three people to save inside, one in the first and two in the second.
  • At the far end of the monastery grounds you'll start running into normal bandits. Climb the stairs past them and enter the last ruined house on the right side to find the last two survivors.
  • An NPC, Healer Hlaren, will rush up after you rescue the last two. Speak to her and she'll beg you to save Dolril, who has been kidnapped by the bandits and thrown into a burning building. Get to it.
  • You'll find the building on the left side of the monastery grounds, across from the building you just left. You can't enter the burning building from the front, so hop in through the back, up the heap of debris. Speak to Dolril inside to save him...
  • Though the quest isn't over yet. Now you have to protect the Tear of Saint Veloth, which is being held by the Vereansu bandits.
  • Enter the Monastery proper; it's the next house down at the end of the grounds. Fight through the enemies within and enter the basement. You'll find the Tear of Saint Veloth down here. After snagging it, speak to Dolril - he's hunched beside the stairs - and he'll give you one last mission: killing the leader of Vereansu, Ashkhan Ginasa.
  • Head west away from the monastery grounds and, up a hill, you'll find the bandit camp. Ginasa is sitting in front of the largest tent. Engage any nearby soldiers at a distance, kill them off, then go after Ginasa himself. He's not that difficult if you're fighting him alone.
  • Return to the group of monks huddled outside the monastery grounds to find Dolril waiting. Speak to him to end the quest.

All done? Not yet. There are two more little quests you can complete while you're lingering in Muth Gnaar.

The Medallions of Saint Veloth

Location: Muth Gnaar, Mournhold

NPC: Healer Ravel

Level: 17

Reward: 43 gold

  • You'll find this NPC, Healer Ravel, on the left side of the monastery grounds as you approach from the east and head west. She's kneeling beside a body.
  • Simple enough: Healer Ravel wants you to collect six Saint Veloth Medallions from the Plague Husks wandering the grounds. They're all over the place, so long as you don't head too far west. Loot each corpse for a fresh(ish) Medallion.
  • Ravel will have retreated to the rest of the monks to the east once the quest is done. Speak to her to finish up the quest.

Burning Revenge

Location: Muth Gnaar, Mournhold

NPC: Tennus Andalen

Level: 17

Reward: Ashlander's Rebuke, 43 gold

  • You'll find this NPC, Tennus Andalen, kneeling on the western edge of Muth Gnaar, beneath an enormous mushroom.
  • Enraged by their attack, Tennus wants you to burn the supplies of the Ashlanders. Piece o' cake, buddy.
  • You'll find the Ashlander camp just up the hill near Tennus. Beat the snot out of any bandits who get in your way and light up the three sets of crates on each side of the central fire pit in the camp. Each has multiple targets, but you need only light one crate on fire to get them all.
  • Head back out of town to the east, near the other survivors, to find Tennus. He'll hand over a tidy reward.
