#5: Unwavering Emotions/ N's Farewell
N is a character in Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. He was the puppet leader of Team Plasma in Pokémon Black and White and aspired to create separate worlds for humans and Pokémon. His full name is Natural Harmonia Gropius. As a child, he was raised together with Pokémon and was isolated from humans. Ghetsis would only let N see Pokémon that had been hurt by humans. In Black and White, N serves as an anti-villain, being the secondary antagonist, yet a good-natured person who sees Pokémon as his friends and is generally rather amicable toward the player as well. At several points during the game, he appears before the player to battle.
#4: Battle! Legendary Pokémon
Reshiram is the game mascot of Pokémon Black, appearing on the boxart. Along with Zekrom and Kyurem, it is a member of the Tao trio, which exists in the legends of the Unova region. Reshiram fuses with Kyurem using the DNA Splicers to become White Kyurem. Reshiram has a jet engine-like tail, which it uses to accelerate itself when flying at high speeds. It can send flames from its tail into the air to incinerate everything around it. By flaring its tail, Reshiram is capable of moving the world's atmosphere and changing the weather. This tail generator is also activated when influenced by either Fusion Bolt or Bolt Strike, which in turn powers up Reshiram's own Fusion Flare or Blue Flare. In Unova mythology, Reshiram sided with the older brother who sought the truth. As a result, it firmly believes in truth. According to one myth, Reshiram is said to burn down kingdoms of people who ignore truth due to being consumed by greed.
Zekrom is the game mascot of Pokémon White, appearing on the boxart. Along with Reshiram and Kyurem, it is a member of the Tao trio, which exists in the legends of the Unova Region. Zekrom fuses with Kyurem using the DNA Splicers to become Black Kyurem. Zekrom's tail produces energy for its attacks and emits an anti-gravity field, allowing Zekrom to fly through the air with minimal effects from aerodynamic resistance and gravity. It can cause several thunderstorms in one area, and it normally hides in thunderclouds. In a Unova myth about the twin heroes, Zekrom sided with the younger brother who sought for ideals. According to one myth, Zekrom uses its lightening to annihilate kingdoms of people who have lost the righteousness in their hearts. It is a genderless species. It is the only Pokémon that can learn Bolt Strike, though it is commonly associated with the move Fusion Bolt.
#3: Celestial Tower, Dragonspiral Tower & Giant Chasm
The Celestial Tower is a location situated in central-western Unova. The Celestial Tower is a tall tower with three inner floors connected by spiral staircases. Like certain buildings in other regions, it is a resting place for deceased Pokémon. At the top of the tower is a bell, which mourners can ring in remembrance of their lost Pokémon. The bell's sound is said to reflect the nature of the one who rang it.
Dragonspiral Tower is an old tower where Zekrom/Reshiram was sealed in the Dark Stone /Light Stone after the war thousands of years ago, until it was awoken by N. It is located in the western part of Unova, just above Icirrus City. Though it is not known who built it or when it was built, it is the oldest structure in Unova. It is said this is where Legendary Pokémon are created and slumber.
Giant Chasm is an area in the north-eastern part of the Unova region. It is a large impact crater containing a maze-like forest, and is home to a number of extraterrestrial Pokémon, including the Legendary Pokémon Kyurem, who resides in the deepest part of the cave at the far end of the crater.
#2: Battle! Ghetsis
Ghetsis Harmonia Gropius is one of the Seven Sages, the true mastermind behind Team Plasma and the primary antagonist in Black, White, Black 2, and White 2. He reveals that his and Team Plasma's motive for stealing Pokémon was a lie all along and that Ghetsis wanted to ensure that he was the only person in Unova with Pokémon, so he could dominate the region (this was previously foreshadowed by him referring to himself during speeches referring to Team Plasma's goals before correcting himself and saying Team Plasma). According to a Grunt in the castle, he was even learning of ways to manipulate hearts of people. Alder and Cheren both hear the truth from Ghetsis. Ghetsis battles the player in a rage, despite N's protest. After the battle, Alder and Cheren arrest Ghetsis and take him away. He is not seen again in this game.
#1: Driftveil City
Driftveil City is a major ocean port city in western Unova. It has strong wind currents popular with sail-boaters. More importantly, its ports are used by freighters and fishing boats that import and export goods such as vegetables in and out of Unova. A large market offering a variety of useful items occupies part of the city. Driftveil is typically subject to precipitation year-round, but remains dry throughout the summer.
