Borderlands 2 Get to the Fridge

Updated on February 21, 2020

Borderlands 2 Rising Action Mission

In Borderlands 2, the hero must complete the rising action mission to get to the Fridge. This is really a quest where the hero will get reacquainted with previous areas of the game. The hero can either fight past or run past enemies in these areas to get to the area known as the Fridge. This will guide the hero with maps of the Three Horns Valley and the Three Horns Divide and show the hero how to get to the fridge in the most challenging or fastest ways.

Borderlands 2 Run and Get A Vehicle to Get to Three Horns Valley

Now that Sanctuary has flown up and has been phased away to another as yet undisclosed location, the hero must head out of the Sanctuary Hole back into the Three Horns Divide area. Remember the bandits on the left side of the hero as he attempted to get to Sanctuary Hole for the first time. Well, the bandits are still present, but now on the right side of the hero. Use weapons to defeat these bandits; the hero will soon realize that his awesome weapons at this stage will put down the enemies rather easily. Defeat them, and flick on the map of Three Horns Divide. The hero must head towards the catch-a-ride station. From there, the hero can use the vehicle's weapons (either the bandit technical or the light runner) to blast foes away. Of course, the hero can also just run them over with the vehicles. If the hero continues on foot, then he will have to defeat bullymongs (note that if the hero had completed the No Names mission, then the bullymongs are now known taxonomically and correctly as Primal Beasts) the hard way.

The heavy strike sniper rifle was particularly useful here in releasing bursts of concentrated fire when the trigger is squeezed.

Get to the Fridge Through the Exit of the Three Horns Valley

At the Three Horns Valley, the hero needs to flick on the map again to identify his position. The hero needs to get to the Fridge. The vault hunter will drive his vehicle past the Happy Pig Motel and continue into a narrow corridor on the western side of the map. This tiny corridor can be easily missed. Note that if the hero needs to heal up, or needs ammo, then he needs to switch on the power and the vending machines at the Happy Pig Motel. There will be some skags around about this area and they will pester the hero.

At the end of the narrow corridor, the hero can will encounter some bandits. The fastest way to get through them is to blast them aside with the rocket launching capabilities of the light runner. However, the more adventurous hero may want the challenging path – climb out of the vehicle and take out the bandits using his weapons. If the enemies' firepower gets too intense, and the hero needs to heal up or needs to heal up the vehicle, run away from this battlegrounds (towards the Happy Pig Motel) and then head back there when health is full.

After the bandits are defeated, follow the directions on the minimap to enter the Fridge.
