"Going Medieval": Room-Type Bonuses
The Finer Points of Going Medieval
An easily overlooked gameplay feature is the room-type bonus. I admit, 30 hours in, I discovered it accidentally while messing with something else. When I realized what I was looking at, I knew other people out there have probably missed this critical detail.
There's a reason it says "Inside: Spare Room" when you click on the furniture and production buildings in your rooms.
There are nine different room types. If you can fill rooms with certain types of furniture and buildings, they get bonuses to production or provide happiness bonuses to your villagers.
- Kitchen
- Workshop
- Library
- Great Hall
- Church of Restitution Chapel
- Oak Brethren Temple
- Bedroom
- Shared Bedroom
- Spare Room
There's even an overlay button to see what the requirements of each room type are in the navigation buttons on the upper left.
What Does Each Room Give You?
Satisfy each room's unique building requirements and separate the different rooms with walls and doors, and these wonderful benefits can be yours!
