WSOP vs Poker Heat

WSOP and Poker Heat are two free online poker games made by Playtika. In this article, I will answer the following:

  • What do I think about both games?
  • How are the games different?
  • How are the games similar?
  • Which game is better!?

Read on to find out which game reigns supreme!

Game Controls Compared

Poker Heat has better game controls. The buttons are easier to use, and they look nicer.

Also, in Poker Heat, you can make your action before players before you. You press a button and wait for the action to get to you. I like this feature as people often play poker very slow.

The controls in WSOP are OK, but they are more simple and basic compared to Poker Heat.

Poker Heat is the better game here.

How the Games Look and Sound

Poker Heat has a bit more style, and it is the more flashy game. WSOP looks more like a traditional poker game. WSOP can be a bit boring sometimes.

Poker Heat looks way better.

Poker Heat has way more interesting and exciting sounds and music. Poker Heat is the clear winner here.

Poker Options Compared

WSOP has Texas hold ‘em and Omaha hold 'em. Poker Heat only has Texas hold 'em.

WSOP also has sit-and-go tournaments. Poker Heat has no tournaments.

WSOP has nine-person tables. Poker Heat only has five-person tables. I prefer the smaller table size found in Poker Heat. But I wish both games had the option to choose what tables you want to play at.

WSOP has table speed options. Poker Heat does not. I prefer the faster pace of WSOP, and I wish Poker Heat also had fast tables.

WSOP wins here because it has more options and setting you can change.

Game Events Compared

The events in the games are very similar. When it comes to more unique events, Poker Heat has better events. Red Attack and Reverse Poker and more fun and unique compared to King of the table or Cash Dash Nitro.

Poker Heat has the better game events.

Both games have interesting events. I would say WSOP wins here as the game has more seasonal events and have events more often.

Leagues and Competition Compared

WSOP has clubs. You don’t compete with people in clubs. You move and down in clubs based on your own gameplay and nothing else.

Poker Heat has leagues. Leagues happen after so many days. You move up and down based on how you play compared to other players in the leagues.

I like the more competitive nature of Poker Heat leagues. It feels more fun to be in a higher league in Poker Heat. Leagues also are more rewarding in Poker Heat.

Poker Heat is the winner.

Things to Collect Compared

WSOP has bracelets you can collect. You get these by earning bracelet points and playing the game often. You can also collect rings and circuit trophies by playing in sit and go games.

Poker Heat has rings you can collect. You get rings by collecting crowns and playing the game often.

While WSOP has more things, I like the rings of Poker Heat more. They feel more unique and exclusive. The bracelets in WSOP seem like just another part of the game, and they aren't very exciting.

Poker Heat also has better things to collect.

My Thoughts on Both Games

Both WSOP and Poker Heat are fun poker games to play, and I play both often. But I would say Poker Heat is the better game. The game feels better to play and sounds better, too.

WSOP may have more options. But Poker Heat feels more refined and it is more direct in its poker offerings.
